YES YES HI I AM BACK SORRY. I didn't have enough inspiration for this and I just got some so yay. Enjoy! Sorry it is so short though, I want to end this chapter here because I can have more flow between chapters lol.

We woke up the next morning entangled in each others' arms, and giggled at each other.

"Good morning sleepyhead." Jake whispered to me.

"I dragged you back, a sleepyheaaaaaaad" I replied, hopping out of the bed and going to the bathroom.

"Stop being so obsessed with that song!" Jake shouted to me from behind the bathroom door.

"Never!" I shouted back, while brushing my teeth. I continued to get dressed for the morning, and Jake came into the bathroom to take a shower. The bathroom starts to steam up really quickly, which seemed odd.

"Hey, are you trying to burn yourself to death in there?" I asked him, opening the door to let the steam air out.

"I take my showers really hot, sorry!" He replied, and he got out in the next minute. We were going on a hike that day, and we didn't want to overdress, so a simple pair of jeans and a sweater did just fine. There was a backpack full of different bags of nuts and a lot of water we had prepared earlier, and we were ready to go out into the forest.

"Maybe we will see an owl!" I jumped up and down.

"Owls are nocturnal." Jake said bluntly.

"Well I'm nocturnal, and you see me out in the day."

"Ok, I see your point."

We passed a few birds and squirrels as we started to get into the mountain range. The view of the sunrise was beautiful from the top of the hill. It was like looking at a glowing orange, but more vibrant and less fruit-like. I think having a giant fruit as the sun would be quite frightening and oddly enticing.

"Ooh, look at that hawk! Quick! Snap a photo!" I shouted, as it flew over our heads into the tops of the trees. It landed at the top of what seemed like a mile high redwood tree. It laid down in its nest, maybe there were babies?

"I somewhat got a photo, look and see." Jake told me as he handed me the camera.

"Are you kidding, that is a really good photo!" I praised Jake. The photo was a perfect image of the hawk flying, with its wings expanded and the sun hit everything just right. This was a perfect example picture frame photo for photo frames.

We climbed up a little higher, and the trees started to get more dense. It had become darker, and we started dropping neon colored rocks to find our way back to where we came from, since the path was strewn with leaves and marks.

"Should we keep going? It is starting to get darker as we go, and the rocks can get picked up easily by the wind." I asked Jake, who was walking ahead of me.

"Maybe we can go just a little farther." He replied, and we walked up higher to a small platform with a bench on it. We stood and looked around at the scenery, but suddenly, Jake pulled me closer to him.

"This place is really pretty." Jake whispered to me.

"It's prettier with you here." I replied, and pulled him in for a kiss. He pulled me closer to him, and it started to get passionate, but I pulled away.

"HA! I finally kissed you first! In the romantic way not the pecking way!" I shouted, and heard a few birds scurry around us. Jake laughed at me and we started walking back towards the cabins, away from the pits of hell. Seriously, it got dark really quick.

We followed the neon-pink trail of rocks back to the lake, where we decided to go on a walk around the lake. It was still 11:30am, and it was our last day here. The weather outside become quite cloudy, and we couldn't see the sun. The fog was even denser than it was in San Francisco.

"How did it become like this so fast? Sunny than gloom in minutes!"

Jake replied. "Mother nature is probably on her period." and I chuckled. Once we made it back, I made some tea for us since it was quite cold. I always drank herbal tea when it got cold out, it was the best thing. Suddenly, the water started bouncing out of the pot all over the counter.

"AHHHH!" I screamed as it splashed around the oven, extinguishing the fire. Jake ran over, and stared at the oven.

"How can that even happen?" He asked.

"I have no clue."

I took the pot off of the stove and poured the water into 2 cat mugs I found rummaging through the cabinets. The water was still steaming when we put the tea in the cup, so they were left in the refrigerator.

"This has been a pretty fun vacation!" I said.

"It really has been, besides finding thousands of plastic bodies and almost being murdered by water." He laughed. Nothing else went on for the rest of the night, we just stayed in the room and slept.

We woke up the next morning and packed our bags. It was time to say goodbye to Lake Crescent, and get back into our normal lives. I kept thinking to myself, "I'm going to be with him forever." Yes, forever.

It is a lot harder to pack bags leaving vacation than going to one. We could barely fit our clothes into the suitcases, let alone all of the souvenirs we bought. We could practically re-decorate our home. Yes, I said ours. Jake decided to move in with me and Felix at 1am when he couldn't sleep. He ended up calling his landlord first thing in the morning and terminating his contract, who knows how much that cost him. He was set to move in when we got back, yay!!

"Alright, bye really fancy cabin, see you..... actually I don't know when I will see you, but I will" I waved as we walked out to the car. We drove up to the front desk and returned the key to the cabin, and headed back to San Francisco. I missed the tall buildings and the cafe's, and most importantly I missed Felix. Back to San Francisco we go!!!
