Aleks P.O.V
"Uh, hey. Sorry I'm late," I apologized. And I really meant it. He's like one of those people that you really want to get to know.
When I sat down, he giggled loudly. He looked over to me with a huge grin on his face, and I felt my face heat up. Eddie laughed more, stared at me a bit longer, and turned away when his name was mentioned by Kevin. "Aren't you going to introduce everyone else to Aleks? It seems like you and I are the only ones that know him." Eddie's eyes widened a bit. "Oh! Yeah, yeah!"
I looked over to Kevin, who just motioned towards Eddie. "He's great at introducing people to each other. That's actually how I met all of the guys." I rested my chin on my head and didnt bother to reply. I don't mind meeting new people, I just never like getting close to others. I feel like I become too bothersome, or what my dad always told me. I was in my own thoughts when Eddie nudged me, as he pointed to the group of guys that were talking amongst themselves.
"I take it you haven't met any of the guys yet?" Eddie gestured towards them.
"Seen them around, but haven't really wanted to talk to them."
Eddie frowned, and tried to imitate the way I sulked on the bench of the table. I smiled a bit, hitting his shoulder lightly. He laughed even more, and spoke up a bit, starting to point out the kids and their names.
"James and Seamus," Eddie signaled toward the blonde in a Mario shirt and a Caucasian wearing a Cookie Monster beanie. The kid in the beanie-who I figured was James-turned away from Seamus and said 'hey' with a full mouth of food. Seamus didn't say anything, just looked up at me and waved.
Eddie then turned towards the other two with the "beards" and the other with a red hat. "Then these three are Dan, Nick and Jordan! Nick lost a bet with Jordan and has to wear that dumb-ass horse mask around today," Eddie giggled, "Oh yeah, and the two Stevens are gone today! Sick maybe..."
Nick proceeded to yell about this stupid bet that he lost. I soon started to space out, and think.
Everything today has been hitting me pretty hard today. A new school, a big house, and a kid that I think might've turned me gay. I mean, how could I tell my parents? I don't even know if I actually like guys or not! Dammit...
I felt someone pull on my shirt, to my right. It was Kevin. He looked at me, with concerned eyes and a smile. A different kind of smile that he wore when he walked in here. Like he actually wanted to smile. I smiled back at him, signaling I was okay.
He straightened up, and continued on eating, although he knew something was on my mind. He looked over one more time at me, but turned away seconds before I heard a screeching noise in my ear.
"ALEKS!" Eddie roared. Holy shit, he was like an air-horn! "I wanted to know if you liked video games! Because maybe we could get together some time after school and dick around at my house." I stared at him. Sure, I liked to play games, but only because it was my only escape from my dad. He'd never mess with me when I was.
I sighed and nodded, "Fuck, I don't even ca-" Eddie cut me off. "GREAT!" He started to giggle uncontrollably, and between his laughter he asked one of the others for a pen. Dan gladly slipped a Sharpie over to Eddie, and out of nowhere he put his hand in mine. I blushed instantly.
As he started writing numbers on my hand, he looked up and giggled at my expression, "I've always wanted to do this oh my god. And look at your FACE! You look like a pomegranate!" He laughed even more, but I couldn't even think of a witty reply. Only a little grunt.
Eddie looked up again, noticing the time and the thinning amount of people. Seamus was even getting up and dismissing himself. As I remember, my last class was band.
In my other schools, I was a "special case" when it came to instruments-I wanted to play an instrument, but I wanted to play one that I thought fit me best. So, instead of playing instruments found in a common band room, I played bass guitar. Although I can play saxophone pretty well, it wasn't all that fun, and the director made an exception for me to play something I enjoyed more.
As I got up and threw my untouched food away, I didn't think twice about Eddie. I just wanted to go to my last period of the day, go home and-
My thoughts were cut off short as someone pushed me down to the cement school floor. I felt my head collide with the ground. I couldn't even scream, just try to get up. But I couldn't. I felt a foot on my chest, keeping me down.
"I haven't seen you around here, you must be new," the kid growled. But I already knew what he was going to do. My dad's done this too many times in the past. He picked me up by the collar of my shirt and slammed me into the wall. At this point, I could feel blood going down my neck. The kid got closer, and put his body weight on me, and punched me in the ribs. This time, I let out a moan.
He got up to my ear and whispered, "This is going to be fun."

-Posts early cause im seeing thor 2 tomorrow- This doesn't seem that long, I'm sorry! I was just in a bit of a writers block, I haven't written this much in a super long time, aaaah-
But there it is, a cliffhanger too! (I wrote this in school as well, and I didn't want my iPad to be revoked either.) I'm sorry if it's too short! And sorry for any typos, even though I've been speaking English for a really long time, I'm never gonna get used to it, so I might've slipped some things in there by accident. Take care!
