Eddie POV

The next couple weeks went by pretty smoothly. I was kind of shy around Aleks, I didn't really want to make him uncomfortable around me. Ever since I totally and unexpectedly made out with him, i was worried he didn't like me that way. I didn't even know if we were still dating, anyways. We only knew each other for a day!

I'm pretty sure we weren't dating, but I decided I'll make it up to him, just to seal the deal!

--

As we neared the end of the day, and we were all ready to leave, I chased after Aleks to his shiny new Nissan, I think it was. I tried to wave him down, to get his attention. There was something really important I needed to tell him! Although, it seemed like he had his headphones in. I smiled widely, before stopping him from closing his car door and driving off. He pulled his headphones out, the anger and irritation defiantly visible on his adorable little face. Oh my GOSH! He's so cute when he's mad! As if my big smile couldn't get any bigger: it did. When Aleks realized it was me, his emotion softened a bit. We remained staring at each other until my lips unexpectedly started moving.

"Hey, so..." I started stuttering, and my heart started to beat faster," Uh, my ma had reserved a dinner table at a nice restaurant as a 'leaving house' party, but she said she's busy and..." I took one more big breath and rushed the last sentence,
"Ah, I was wondering if you wanted to go with me?"

Aleks stared at me for a couple seconds, leaning back on his seat before turning away from me and jingling his keys in his hand. He looked back at me, half-smiling as he put the keys in the ignition.

"Sure. What time should I come over?" He asked, and I almost passed out.

I bit my lip, while thinking, "I'll just come and pick you up! At about eight o'clock. Does that sound okay?" When he nodded in acceptance, I was pretty sure I was going to explode! Finally, an actual date, instead of playing games and texting each other until the first minutes of dawn. I felt like such a schoolgirl (as usual), I just couldn't wait!

I picked up my portfolio where it was balancing on my shoes as I said my farewell to Aleks, and ran almost all the way to the Creature House. My mind was so out of control, I didn't realize I left my keys in my bag: which was at school. "Oh my god..." I muttered as I hung my head in what was most likely shame.

--

After waiting for half an hour, Jordan finally pulled into the driveway, with every one else in the car. As they all teased me for being an airhead and forgetting my keys, I rushed up to my room and picked something out for our dinner. I figured that I shouldn't wear something too flashy, but in a sense, the place we're eating at was so popular that we had to reserve a table says something. And, of course my great fashion sense totally made everything much easier! This dinner was starting to turn into a hassle, and I was getting anxious.

I slumped onto my bed and brought my head to my hands. I shouldn't get too worked up, I mean, I've only been prepping myself for fifteen minutes. As I started taking deep breaths, I heard someone knock on my door. "It's unlocked, you know!" I looked up from where I was perched on the edge of my bed. When the door opened, I really wasn't surprised by who it was.

"Geeze, why are there clothes everywhere? Pick up your damn room." James exclaimed with his usual loud voice. I giggled quietly and stared up at him. James and I don't talk enough, but we're still pretty close friends. Close enough so that we usually know what it means when one of us comes into the other's room.

I sighed and grabbed a small cardboard box from the side of my bed, revealing all sorts of games and movies. I didn't have any shelves to put them on yet, so I just keep them in a box. James likes the games I get, but he's too lazy to get off his ass and go buy his own, personal copies himself. "Anything else you want?" I questioned as I got up from my spot and stretched. James gave me a weird look, "No, I just wanted to see what you were doing. Are you going to a wedding or something?"

I abruptly stopped cracking my joints and replied with a simple and neutral tone, "Nah, I'm going on a date. Don't know what to wear."

"How fancy?" James looked back at me.

"That's the thing, I don't really know."

James looked around at my selection of button-down shirts, all different colours. It was like a rainbow was splattered all over my room. He picked up a dull, yellow one and handed it to me. I just stood there with a weird look on my face, and James must've obviously noticed it as he started explaining how "yellow catches the eye" and how I didn't have any red or pink. I was just, surprised on how much he knew about colours.

After about an hour of mumbling about colours, I was already buttoned up in the shirt James handed me and dress-like pants I had found somewhere in my closet. When I realized I only had around forty-five minutes to pick up Aleks, I just had to ask about the fascination James suddenly has with colours.

All he did was give me a shrug, and didn't bother for anything else. There was something behind this, but at the time I didn't really care, I just had to pick Aleks up.

I had no choice but to borrow Jordan's car-since I didn't really have one yet-and drive off. Thankfully I only remember important things, so I knew exactly what directions Aleks had given me to his house.

I was there in no time. My mind soon wandered as I stared at the big houses before me. The clean gates and beautiful architecture was amazing! On top of that, the community looked simply perfect! There wasn't a single piece of garbage on the small road, the kids that were playing outside seemed nice and well-kept. To be honest, Aleks didn't look like he belonged in this kind of neighborhood!

I got side-tracked and almost passed the house with the exact address I was told to stop at. I figured I would have to go inside, but I saw Aleks playing with a small group of kids, as he was waiting for me. I cannot stress enough how beyond perfect he is. Luckily, he noticed me, and said his goodbyes to the group as he trotted towards the car.

As he got in, I noticed he was wearing a nice, cool blue button-down shirt just as I was, and dark coloured jeans with a leather jacket to match. I couldn't help but laugh. I always do when I'm nervous.

He groaned, and just said, "Shut up, I'm hungry," before I started to the restaurant.

Yay.
Sorry for not updating. (And accidentally posting this chapter when there was a huge typo that wouldn't go unnoticed) I've had kind of a writer's block I think. Which actually brings me to a thing.
I haven't enjoyed writing on a schedule. I don't like writing this fic even. But I have something planned, and I'm sure I'll like this more. Bc this is just a filler. And referring you back to the first chapter... I really have the ending planned and ready.
And, I'm really sorry to always make mistakes. I'm one of those people who read over those things.
So, no schedule anymore. Sorry. It'll just update when it does. Wee.

Tack igen, och ta hand.
