Dani's POV
When we pulled into the parking area of the wedding service, we got out and started walking to the church where the service was being held. Cole immediately walked from the drivers side over to me. We were walking down a sidewalk when I tripped slightly but caught my balance.
When I stumbled Cole reached down instantly grabbing my hand.
Dani- "Seriously I couldn't pick a worse time to be clumsy." I said while laughing slightly embarrassed. He smiled back at me sweetly, making me feel better.
Cole- "Don't worry about it, I've got you." He said while interlocking our fingers. I smiled while looking down at our hands that were now intertwined.
It didn't take us much longer to get to the church. When we got there we walked in and sat beside his parents who had saved us seats.
Not too long after we got there, the ceremony started. Throughout the ceremony, Cole would glance over at me and give me a sweet side smirk.
It was a beautiful wedding that didn't last too long. Before I knew it, the officiator pronounced them husband and wife.
The wedding was great, but the reception was better. Because the reception was when I got to actually hang out with Cole.
I could tell he was uncomfortable in that environment. There were a ton of people at the reception and I know that he doesn't like being surrounded by a bunch of people.
But he still managed to make it so much fun. He was such a gentleman the entire time. He was the guy who would pull your seat our for you, open the door for you, hold your hand when you are walking in heals so that you don't fall.
After dinner was served at the reception and toasts were made, everyone got up and started dancing. But before we got up, Cole looked over towards the photo booth they had at the other end of the room.
Cole- "Let's go take pictures!" He said with a cheeky smile.
Dani- "Okay!" I said smiling back as we walked in that direction.
When we got over to the photo booth he grabbed different funny props that they had laying on the table.
He grabbed a pink feather scarf first and looked at me. After he glanced back and forth from the pink feathery scarf to me, a cheeky smile grew on his face.
Cole- "Oh yeah this is definitely a you thing. I'll take the big ridiculous sunglasses!" He said while laughing.
We walked in the photo booth and started taking funny photos. There was nobody waiting outside of the booth when we walked out to set the props down, so we went back in to take normal pictures.
In the first one we smiled normally, in the second one he pulled closer and I put my hand on his chest.
Cole- "Let's be stereotypical." He said with a smile in between the pictures.
Dani- "What do you mean?"
But before he answered he leaned in and pressed his lips softly against my cheek.
Cole- "Stereotypical enough?" He asked in a quiet flirtatious voice.
Dani- "In a cute, cheesy way." I said back while smiling and laughing lightly.
He laughed back as he looked at me and the final picture was snapped.
We went outside to grab the pictures. The last one was by far my favorite. There's something so incredible about a picture that wasn't planned.
We didn't try posing for the last picture. We were just laughing and the picture shows us genuinely smiling while we looked at each other.
Cole looked at the pictures as he stood by my side.
Cole- "You look amazing. I love these pictures."
Dani- "Well I think those big pink sunglasses you wore in the first pictures really suited you. You should wear those more often." I said jokingly while I laughed.
Cole- "Are you making fun of me and my amazing sense of style?" He said back in a joking tone.
Dani- "I would never!" I said sarcastically.
Cole- "If you don't like those sunglasses, wait until you see me dance. You really won't like that." He said while laughing.
Dani- "Well I'm a great dancer. I won't mind showing you up."
He smirked at me flirtatiously.
Cole- "You know, most girls don't try to 'show me up' on the first date."
Dani- "So this is a date?" I said back in the same flirtatious tone he used.
Cole- "As long as that's okay with you." He said in a quiet tone with a cute smirk.
Dani- "Let's go dance... I guess I'm gonna be the first date who isn't shy about showing you up." He smirked widely at me when he heard my response.
Cole- "You know I'm very competitive. Why are you trying to challenge me right now?"
Dani- "Because your competitive side is pretty cute. If I get an opportunity to bring that side out I will."
