That's how my mom is really, if I'm happy she'll be happy and vice versa. I was about to respond to her until my iPod started to ding. Then, it got really repetitive and I knew the group chat on kik was starting up.
Going toward my iPod that was laying on the table, I picked it up to view the notifications that were popping up frantically.
Maddie:
J! WHAT HAPPENED?!!?!
Chanelle:
Maddie what are you talking about
Maddie:
Janell and her boo thing
Nessa:
Cmon Chica tell us already
Lissa:
Whats going on?
I started laughing at Lissa always being clueless in the chats.
Janice:
Did she say anything yet?
Nessa:
No! CHICA RESPOND!!
Lissa:
GUYS!! TELL ME WHATS GOING ON!!
Janice:

Lissa left the group chat
Me:
Well, see I did this thing that humans do. Where I talk to another gender.
Chanelle:

Nessa:

Maddie:
Ok, so you talked to another gender and then what happened?

Three years later
Maddie:

Janice:

It took you that long to type that?
Maddie:
Yeah, she takes like three years and a phone plan

Nessa, did you find your life yet in that time span?

I was gonna type something but then I changed my mind and retyped somethin else

No my life has started yet, it's not time yet
That's when I left the chat and buried my face in my pillow to stifle my laughter.
Then, I got a separate text that's not from the group chat.
Lissa:
Hey
Me:
Hey Lissa 😜
Lissa:
Can you add me back to the group chat?
Me:
You good?
Lissa:
Yeah, I just need some skittles
Me:
Skittles or taco?
Lissa:
You can't make me choose but I'll take a taco 😆
Me:
"You're not you when you're hungry"
Lissa:
You got that right
Me:
Alright, alright I'm adding you back.
Lissa:
Okay, thx
I went to go add her back to the group chat just in time for everyone talking about food. Melissa automatically began to have a weird convo with Janice. Those two always argue but they eventually make up an start making nonsense together.

Laying down and ignoring my homework, I thought back to earlier today. A smile broke across my face and I grabbed my pillow to suffocate my girlish squeals of excitement.
I can't believe he actually likes me. Like the full me, both brain, personality, and looks. It's pretty hard to believe.
I just pray that I don't get hurt again.
