Rivai POV

I woke the next day not feeling so good. The nightmare I had kept me from focusing straight as I saddled my horse getting ready to join them all on the mission outside our walls. I was distant with everyone and Erwin was very worried for me. I mounted my horse until the commander joined my side on his horse

"Levi, stay here. You're not in the right mindset to go with us." He laid a hand on my shoulder and I looked down.

"Eruvin.. I want to go. I didn't get to go yesterday and.... Please." I spoke up and looked at him.

"Levi. I'm sorry. You have to stay here." He sighed and looked at me. He said, "You can attend the next one. I promise."

I moved from his touch and kicked my horse heading back to the stables. I was pretty bummed out for not being able to go with them. It was just like my injuries all over again. I muttered under my breath and hopped off my horse putting it away completely.
"Tch. Bastard." I headed inside and just cleaned like usual. After I finished, I just sat around doing nothing and waiting for them to return. I ended up falling asleep in my chair. Some distant voices managed to wake up. It was shouting from what I can make out. I opened my eyes and stood walking to the window to see what was going on. The Military Police were causing trouble in our walls. I glared and made my way down to the courtyard.

"Oiii.. What are you pigs doing causing trouble here? I told you not come back here without Erwin's consent." I froze seeing one of the police walk behind me with shackles out.

"Levi.. Captain of the Survey Corps, You are under arrest for shamefully having affairs with a higher official while serving under the king." He cuffed my wrists and tightened on purpose. "We could try to make a shorter sentence.... or have you executed."

"You have no proof that anything happened. You can't arrest me with no charges." I coldly glared and the other man hit me on the back of the head with his rifle making me slump to my knees wincing.

The Commander and the others had returned shortly after, they came in through the gate and halted their warhorses. Erwin glanced over to see me on the ground. He hopped off his horse and ran toward me not seeing the Military Police members there. He knelt by me and pulled me close.

"Levi, What happened?" He spoke pretty worriedly.

"E...Eruvin. Don't. They'll arrest you too. Please.. Just go. I love you." I whispered by his ear so the others won't hear it. Erwin noticed the police and he looked back at me. He pulled away agreeing to my words of backing out of it. He stood and backed away. I looked down closing my eyes as one of the Military Police members lifted me to my feet. They shoved me forward toward the carriage they had brought. Everyone in the scouting regiment watched as I was pushed into the cart. Erwin watched on scared for what will happen to me. I looked out the window to see Eren smirking. I glared coldly and was able to look at Erwin. I did mouth Eren's name but I didn't know if he caught on. The window was blocked up so I can't see anyone now. They hopped on the carriage where the horses are and rode off. Erwin looked over at Eren and narrowed his eyes walking over to him.

Eruvin POV

"What did you do?" I snapped and grabbed Eren by his shirt. "He's your captain!"

Eren flinched and put his hands up. "I did what I had to. Heichou had it coming when he hurt Mikasa. It was only a matter of time. You're lucky I didn't tell on you either. I respect you enough for that."

"He doesn't deserve that and you shouldn't  have him arrested for your personal problems. Who cares about Mikasa's feelings. She loves you anyway." I let Eren go and frowned watching the carriage take Levi away. I waited for some time before following after them on my horse. My hood shielded my face as I rode up behind the carriage. I wasn't going to let them take the captain away for Eren's dumb excuses. The military police didn't know I was behind them. I rode up the side and glanced into the door window. Levi was sprawled out on the floor with his wrists still shackled behind his back. I narrowed my eyes and hopped off my horse latching my 3DMG's lines through some trees. I attacked the military police by swooping down and cutting their horses loose from the carriage. The horse kept running since I did startle them but now the carriage was vulnerable. I swung down kicking the men off the carriage before making my way to the door. I used one of my blades to wedge the door open. The two members got to their feet and tried to stab me. I turned and punched one with the handle of my sword. The other grabbed me and I kneed him in the stomach before shoving him into his partner. I opened the carriage door and put a blade away.

"Levi." I whispered softly. The short captain shifted some and his gaze met mine.

"E-Erwin.. I told you not... not to do anything." His voice was a bit weak.

"I don't care. I can't leave you to go through with this. Eren is doing this because of his sister.. Don't let him do this to you."

"Tch.. You sound like a relative of mine. I am not fighting anymore. If they want to accuse me with false evidence than it's their problem." He sat up and I glided my fingers along his jawline before speaking up.

"You're innocent. I should go, I did start this all with you anyway." I sighed and looked down.

"You dumb bastard." Levi leaned in close and pressed his lips against mine for a quick moment. It was enough to make me smile some. "Just go back. I can deal with these babies."

"But..." I frowned after he talked.

"Erwin go!" The young captain raised his voice to try and see me away.

"I did this for you. Your coming with me you stubborn shorty." I snapped and grabbed Humanity's Strongest while his wrists were still bound. I had him stand for a little but his legs ended up giving it from under him. They beat him will he was cuffed like this. I made an angered growl come from the back of my throat. It wasn't long before the next military police wagon pull up. I couldn't escape in time with Levi since the group of five aimed their guns at us.

In time, I was also shackled. Me and Levi sat in front of each other, face to face, in the carriage. We discussed lying and saying nothing was even going on. Me and him were perfect liars so it shouldn't be too hard.

We only hoped
they would listen
to reason.
