Kansas~ Carry On Wayward Son

Brooklyn~
Me and Peyton make our drive back to my place and my mother is by the garage and putting stuff outside and in the bin, I frown and run over to her, Peyton on my heals.
"Mother! What's all this!?" I shout, spotting my swimming suit hanging half out the bin, I'm shocked and look at Peyton, she winces at me...
"Hello Peyton!" My mother grins up at her.
"Ah... mother, what's this?" Peyton steps in, holding my arm smoothly.
"Oh, you know.. spring cleaning." She shrugs.
"By throwing my stuff away!?" I shout, walking over to the bins and I find my swimming suits all of them, and my stuff for the career, I look at my mother, completely booming with anger. "ARE YOU FUCKING SERIOUS!?"
"Hey! Don't talk to me like that!" She shouts back at me.
I look at Peyton with wide eyes, and don't even bother with my mother anymore, I hurry to the bin and take out the stuff and then walk up to my mother, taking the stuff out of her hands.
"I'm moving out!" I scream at her. "I'll ask a few friends to help out moving my stuff!"
"You're not going anywhere!" She shouts at me and pulls me back.
I stare at her with all the anger in my eyes and she's shocked, letting me go.
"I'll file the fucking police report on you if you come anywhere near me. Stay away from me!" I yell and walk over to the car, carrying my stuff in the box from the yard.
Peyton looks at our mother. "You've lost your daughter! You happy!?" Peyton asks her and then runs over to me, helping me with my stuff.
I get into the car and drive off towards Peyton's apartment with her, it was a delightful duplex apartment and she usually shared it with her boyfriend, but he's away with his parents for a little vocation at the moment.
I sigh and walk in with Peyton.
"I'm sorry I am invading the apartment.." I say to my sister and she pulls me into a hug.
"I'm sorry Brook, I didn't know how hard she was on you!" She says to me.
"She started acting like that as soon as she started with the job lifting up.. you were lucky to get out of there as you did." I say, sitting on the sofa. "I really wish I moved out earlier.. I could've. But I was thinking about swimming and college that it never got to the thought of it."
"You'll be okay, if you want... after work and your school. We can go to the realtor's office and look at apartments?" She smiles, patting my back smoothly.
"You're seriously the best Pey.." I smile at her and bring her into another hug. "I'm so grateful for this."
"What's your timetable for tomorrow?"
I look down at my phone. "Ah... tomorrow I have one afternoon class, then I'm done for the day."
"I'll pick you up at 13.00?"
"Sure, it's a deal." I say sweetly. "If you don't mind, I think I'll just go do some studying...?"
"I'll show you to your room." She gets up and I follow her.
We arrive on the second floor and she leads me to the room, I smile when I see it. The wallpaper was silver or while mixed. And the windows were a style where wide and clear, I could see the rest of the city from here. Then the king sized bed that has white covers and a bathroom attacked to the room.
"Is this to your liking?" Peyton asks.
"Thanks, it's the best room I've ever seen." I wink at her and put down the box I had.
"Well.. if you need anything, call me. I'm in the room by the left." She grins and goes out.
"Thanks!" I yell again and go over to sit on the bed.
Thank god I'm not home now...
Tristan~
I get back home later in the evening and feel something off, I frown and look around the bedroom and still I don't see anything, I smell something in the air and then sigh in relief...
"Emma, come on out. It's rude to hide..." I say out loud.
Emma walks in from the curtains beside the bed and she grins, her eyes red. "How are you Tristan?"
"It's been a long time Em. I wondered when I'll see you... when was the last time huh?" I ask.
"Ahh, maybe... 200 years?" She smirks. "I've missed you.."
"I have no pleasure having you here. Leave." I stare rudely at her.
"That's quite rude."
"What's rude is you walking around with Brookyln Harper."
She narrows her eyes at me. "Leave my friend alone. You will never see her again.. that's why I'm here actually." She pushes me with her old strength and I crash against my closet and stare at her with distaste. "OH, and plus visiting your sister, we're quite old friends." She smiles down at me.
"I'm not the one endangering Brooklyn!"
"The whole vampire society has heard that your a suspect of murder!" She shouts at me, fangs out. "You weren't suppose to kill people here!"
"I have nothing to do with the murder!" I shout back. "I'm careful!"
"Then who else did it? People saw you with that girl at the bar, she was dead in a alley... and what I heard.. you were the last to see her... in that same alley..."
I look at the floor, I am the suspect of the murder and I hate laying as low... but I know I didn't do it.
"Stay away from my friend... otherwise I'll kill you." She flares at me.
I look up at her. "I wouldn't hurt her!"
"Who knows that Tristan?" She tisks and turns to the window. "Your a monster." She says.
"Your no different than I am."
"Oh? Darling, darling, darling.." She smiles wickedly at me. "I don't feed off mortals anymore, I take the blood drive to my home!" She laughs.
"I cant do such a big change Emma!"
"Then don't touch a hair on my friend. She's off limits."
"A vampire caring so much for a mortal... you've changed Emma." I say.
"And you'd know that.. if you were not such a fluke." She says. "Have a good evening Tristan, hopefully I'll see you without a argument about Brooklyn.." She smirks and leaves through my window.
