Hey guys! I'm sorry for this, but there had to be a gruesome part in this book, as we have vampires here after all.

What will happen is, that there's going to be a scene in this chapter where it's going to get... bloody. I'll put up a warning there for you if you don't want to read it. And I'm going to put another warning of when It's all over.

Thanks for reading this far for you who have. I seriously love you all.

Tristan~

I lean on by my car and watch as Brooklyn walks out of the pool building, I smile at her and she runs over and hugs me. I chuckle and squeeze her back.

"You are in a good mood." I state.

"I think I've just gotten the best job ever." She sighs.

"You've got a job." I frown.

"A job in a job Tristan!" She smiles. "I'm going to teach two swimmers to actually be better than they are already.. which is great." She says.

I smile at her and pulls her close. "You are amazing Miss. Harper."

"Why, thank you, Mr. Hunter." She grins.

"What do you think of doing right now?" I ask her.

"I think I'm going to see Leah."

"You're... going to see Leah? Why?"

"Because, we just need to sort some stuff out, you know... things."

"Oh, girl stuff?" I wince. "Ouch."

She laughs. "Give me a ride?"

I kiss her cheek. "Always."

We drive over to Leah's house, and it wasn't that far, we talked about her day at her work. And of course I told her about the day I had. But that wasn't going on for so long... when I smelt something I never wanted to... not at Leah's house.

Brooklyn starts to get out of the car, but I pull her back, she frowns at me.

"Tristan?"

"Stay in the car." I say, getting out.

"Tristan!? What are you talking about now?" She groans and gets out, exactly what I told her not to do.

****WARNING, BLOODY PART!*****

"Stay back Brooklyn." I say carefully, not to anger her.

"I'm going with you." She crosses her arms. "What do you sense Tristan? You're scaring me... this is my friend's house we're talking about."

I nod. "We're going in, I smell blood. You can come if you stay behind me." I say.

She widens her eyes and nods.

Brooklyn~

We walk towards Leah's house and I begin to feel uneasy and scared. If he was smelling blood, something must have happened to her! I try to stay behind Tristan, but I think any time now I'll just start running and trying to find my best friend.

Tristan opens her door and then pecks through.

"Leah?" He whispers.

He winces, and holds me back for a bit before I'd had enough. "Tristan...? What's going on?"

"The stench of blood is stronger here." He says, whispering.

I gasp, and push him aside. "LEAH!?"
