Tristan~

"You know, once in a while... you should rest." I lean over to the pool's ledge and look down at Brooklyn.

She laughs and then frowns at me. "You're being serious?"

"Of course I'm serious, I care about you."

"Well, I know. But this is what I do, and I cant rest." She says, and gets out of the pool and drinks some water, *get it? Get it? Drink. Water!? .... I know, I'm just a bad joker.*

"Hey... Is Peyton alright, about...?" I ask.

"Oh, the blood jar thing?" She looks at me. "No, she's scared. She tries to hide it, but she knows she cant ever hide things from me."

I sigh, and sit next to her. "I don't know who would this.. I've had a lot of 'enemies' you could say, it's normal to have enemies... but I never would've thought they'd want to kill me or kill someone close to me."

"Tristan, it's a warning. You have to get out of the city."

"They'd know if I left, what if they came after you before trying to hunt me?" I say. "It's too dangerous for you now, and I hate that I brought you into it."

She smiles and comes to sit on my lap, I was sure my jeans were soaked from the water she was swimming in, but I don't care.

"I'm not." She says, looking into my eyes. "Tristan, you're the best thing that's happened to me since I met you, you helped me cope with my parents, even if my father wont talk to me, it's you who saved him. When my mother died, you saved me from going off the edge... you're the one who saved me from Drake that night, otherwise I don't know what would happen..."

"You would be better off without me." I sigh.

"Stop saying that, it's not true. I would only care about swimming and my job. Without you life's boring."

"You're too good."

"Yeah, I've heard." She winks.

I pull her in and kiss her passionately, we hear someone clearing their throat and quickly pull apart.

"Practice huh?" Carl, Brook's coach asks, winking.

"Hellooo Carl." Brooklyn goes on, getting off me. "How's it been?"

"You alright? I heard you were hurt after a kidnapping." He frowns.

I widen my eyes, who else knew it!?

"Yes Carl...? But you know what! I'm going to meet you tomorrow for practice, me and my boyfriend have lunch."

"Aha... Have fun you two."

"See ya around Carl." I wave and go out in the parking lot.

Brooklyn~

We're currently at lunch and I'm eating a wonderful Pasta Carbonara, it was and still is my favourite food ever.

"So, when is the final?" Tristan asks, sipping his water.

I frown. "Final?"

"The competition?"

"Oh, it's in 3 days." I smile. "Lot's of time to get practice." I nod.

"You practice 24\7, what if you just gave 'rest' a chance?" He asks, worried.

I sigh, was he going to keep pushing me to rest? I mean, I'm fine, I haven't rested before... and I'm still on the team, which only allows great swimmers.

"One day." I state.

"Good enough." He says, satisfied and continues to eat.

I look around me at the restaurant and look around at people just enjoying the lunch their having and maybe even no problems are in their lives. But now I had some, and I always thought being a swimmer meant no problems.

"Tristan, what's our plan?"

"We finish off lunch and go visit Peyton, right?" He frowns.

"Tristan!" I slap his hand and he pulls it away, showing he's confused.

"What was that for!?"

"You don't even think... slightly, that we're talking about the bad guy?" I say, annoyed.

He sighs and holds my hand from across the table. "You don't have to worry about it, okay? I'll take care of it."

"Before he kills anyone?" I ask.

"Way before." He smiles.

I smile at him. "Good, it's a sealed deal."

"I would never break a sealed deal." He laughs and finishes off his steak.

Selene!!! Whose her fan guys? ;) ~

"Drake!?"

I walk around the big house that is mine really too. But whatever I do, weather it's drawing a map of the place or whatever... I cant make my way around it. One thing more? I cant even find my soul-mate anywhere either.

"In the lounge."

"Didn't I look there?" I whisper to myself and groan, I run down the stairs and make my way to the room and the fireplace is on and the fire is dancing.

"This house is huge.." I mumble and go over to where he's sitting.

Since I've gotten to know him, he's not that bad, he's caring, loving... and all of that is good and better than nothing but anger, that's what I thought in the beginning.. but it's getting better.

"You've said that a lot." He grins and kisses my cheek before pulling me down to his lap.

"Have you ever thought about buying a smaller one? Where I can actually not get lost in?" I smile.

"It's funny when you get 'lost'." He chuckles and nods. "But If it makes you happier, we'll go and look for another one."

"I haven't seen Tristan in a while, we'll have to visit him too." I stand up.

"But Sel--"

"No but's, he'll get used to us being together, he doesn't exactly want to kill you, that's a start." I say and go over to the kitchen.

He follows me and takes out a bottle of blood from the fridge. "Let's say that he's not fond of me." He says and takes the sip from it.

"Okay, okay.. but what about what you told Brooklyn to do." I wink. "You don't want him hurt either, so you both will be fine." I say. "You saved his life."

"Not yet." He sighs. "The guy's still out there, and I don't think he'll stop just yet..."

"Maybe not, but hopefully we'll find out who he is."

"We!?"

"Yes Drake, I'm not letting my brother fight alone, never have."

"Crazy woman..."

"And you love it!" I shout.
