Brooklyn~
"Jess, come over here for a second! Carmen, you can go change, see you next week!" I call out throughout the empty pool, except me, Jess and Carmen.
Jess walks over to me and I pull her aside.
"Did you need to discuss with me about something Miss. Harper?" She asks me sweetly.
"You missed last weeks practice?... Any reasons?" I smile.
Jess sighs, and looks at the pool. "It's a bit ... embarrassing."
"You can tell me anything Jess." I put my arm around her. "I'm here not just for you career in swimming, but you and Carmen in anyway I can."
She nods. "I promise I'll be at the next practise, I don't want to lose a life of swimming. It means the world to me Miss. Harper."
"Alright then, I believe you. Call me Brooklyn, Jess." I hug her.
"Bye!" She waves.
"See you next week!" I shout.
I go over to the edge of the pool and pick up some stuff and then put them away, I look at the used towels and take them and put them in the wash-basket, it was a long practise, but the girls are learning like stars!
"Ladies and gentlemen..." I turn around to meet the voice and grin at him. "It's Tristan!" He praises himself and steps in.
I laugh, and put down my bag. I walk over to him and he pulls me to his chest.
"Hello you." I smile and kiss him.
He pulls me closer and then after what felt like a hour, we hear giggles and we break apart quickly and there are Carmen and Jess, laughing.
"Girls." I groan.
"Hello guys, how was swim practise?" Tristan asks, rubbing the back of his neck.
"Oh... it was ... steamy." Carmen winks.
"She means, fun." Jess giggles again.
"Did you girls forget something?" I ask them, raising my brow.
"We wanted to ask you something Miss. Harper." Carmen says sweetly, they'd stopped laughing.
"That is?" I smile.
"Would you like to come to my birthday?" Jess grins. "It's next week, after swim practise, and I'd love my parents to meet you, and no worries. My sister will be there, and she's 21 too!"
I laugh. "I'd love to Jess, let's talk about it later then?"
"Of course!" She jumps. "Thanks Brooklyn!" She cries out.
"No problem, see you soon girls." I say, waving.
They jump a bit and walk out, Tristan chuckles and pulls me close again, I smile at him.
"They love you." He says.
"And I love them too, their like my younger self in some ways." I sigh. "I wish the parents we're much more supportive in that time for me."
"But you grew up to love it." He kisses my cheek. "Let's go to look for the apartment." He grins.
Did I mention it's been a whole week since Leah left, and a while before me and Tristan thought it would be great to move in together in a whole new place. So that's where leads me and him, the next stage of our, great and delightful... and romantic relationship.
