"Hey, Cas," Dean called the angel's attention. "Can you give us a moment?" Cas nodded his head then left the room.

"Look, Dean, I know what you're going to say," Sam says, cutting Dean off before he could say anything.

"It's neither yours nor Cas' fault, okay?" Sam questioned raising an eyebrow at Dean.

"I should have been watching you, Sam. Of course it's my fault," Dean snapped back. Sam sighed at Dean's outburst.

"Either way, Dean, I would have run off like I did. No matter which one of you were watching me," Sam replied wearily, knowing Dean would fight tooth and nail that he is at fault for Sam's injury. "Cas, you can come back in now," Sam says once Dean doesn't respond for a good minute. As if on cue, Cas walked in the door and sat down in his chair.

He looked back out the window, but he had a troubled look on his usually emotionless face. Sam has noticed in the past few months that Cas has had difficulty not showing emotion. Cas always seems to have this puzzled or deep in thought look on his face. And Sam has also noticed how he stares at Dean longer than would be permitted for the occasion or situation.

"Sam, you should try to get more sleep. It will help with the healing process," Cas said still looking out the window.

"Yeah, okay," Sam says and leans back onto his bed again, closing his eyes. Dean turned his chair until he could see the small tv that hung from the ceiling in Sam's room. He surfed the channels with the volume on a low level so he didn't bother Sam. Dean found a boring channel programming an old movie that he slightly recalls seeing once or twice before.

He then rests his head on the back of his chair. Dean quickly fell asleep again. Dean awoke around 5:30 in the evening. He looked over to see Sam watching tv like Dean was earlier. Dean stood up and stretched, smirking when he heard the satisfying noise of his back popping then he sat back down. Sam looked over at Dean and rolled his eyes.

"Don't act like you don't do the same thing," Dean challenged.

"Jerk," Sam sassed at Dean's remark.

"Bitch," Dean said with a smile then looked back to the tv.

"Doc said that I can be released in a couple more days," Sam said a few minutes later.

"Good," Dean said. "Now I know when I can finally get out of here. I hate hospitals." Sam looked at Dean but didn't say anything. Instead he just looked back at the tv. Sam quickly fell back asleep, bored of the program showing on the tv.
