Dear Harry,

Oh you can fit me inside the necklace you got when you were 16
Next to your heartbeat where I should be
Keep it deep within your soul.

Do you remember the necklace I gave you on your 16th birthday? I told you to never open the medaillon until I told you so... Well today should've been the day. I made reservations for today at Alfredo's. Yes, the restaurant we went to on our first date. I wanted to have a nice dinner with you, drink some champagne, and after dessert, I would've told you to open the medaillon of your necklace. And you would've done as I said, and a beautiful silver ring would have fallen out. A silver ring with a small, but pure diamond on it. And while you would have been staring at it, I would've dropped on one knee and said something like:

"Hazza, you're my end and my beginning. I love you more than anyone else, and I want to be with you forever. Will you do me the honor and become my husband?"

And I hope you would've said yes and everyone would applaude and congratulate us and tell us what a beautiful couple we are.
But instead I'm sitting in the living room all alone while everyone is asleep and I try my best not to just get up, drown a bottle of Wodka and a few sleeping pills and leave forever. You know it's hard to live with a broken heart, and mine is splattered into a million pieces since you've left. But I still do love you.

Lou x

P.S.: the next letter will be my last, if you know what I mean. If you respond to it, I might stay a little longer.
