12♧ They Meet Again

Y/N's POV

I've made it to the university! But the enrolment only starts in March so I have some spare time on hand.

I've decided to take up a part-time job to kill time and maybe earn some pocket money for myself so I travelled to Seoul alone.

I felt bad for leaving Grandma behind but she was the one who actually encouraged me to come to Seoul.

"Go honey, go and earn some money there in the big city. I felt so sorry for not being able to fund you much." Grandma said to me as she wiped away her tears.

"Also... find him. You want to see him again, don't you?"

Grandma's words constantly played on my mind as I laid myself on the bed of my room.

I rented a small apartment not far from the YG Building so I went inside to ask if I could get a job there. It would be easier for me since I could walk to work.

And also...

I wanted to see how he is doing.

Even though it meant to just watch him from afar, I'm already contented.

And so, I got the job offer. I will be working as a receptionist at the YG Building.

I know Jinhwan won't notice me because they don't need to go to the reception counter right? They knew the building inside out.

However from the counter I could see everyone perfectly.

I've noticed iKON getting up and down the elevator numerous times and I bet Jinhwan didn't even know I'm here.

That's good because I just want to look at him without him knowing.

He hates me, remember?

Kim Hanbin is the only one who often comes over to the reception counter because he'll need to get iKON's schedule from us. Apparently he is the leader of iKON.

Since I've moved to Seoul, I've been exposed to the media almost every second of my life, unlike how I used to live like a frog in the well when I'm at the rural area. News broadcast, commercials, music shows and various programmes are being broadcasted all around the city at every time of the day.

That is also how I get to know the members of iKON. You see, they are given the nickname of "monster rookie" as they have been gaining popularity since the first day they debuted. Their faces are everywhere - appearing in the TV, the CD stores and their albums could be found in almost every shopping malls.

And him. I'm so happy to see how successful he is now. And he had blonde hair now.

It suits him perfectly. He looked handsome.

"Annyeong."

Kim Hanbin greeted me as he came to get their schedule.

I smiled back at him and handed him what he needed.

"I haven't seen you before this, are you new here?" Oh it's the first time Hanbin initiated a talk with me.

I guessed he is just trying to be friendly.

"Ummm yeah.." I answered awkwardly.

"You look nervous. Please don't be. I'm Hanbin by the way." He chuckled lightly as he continued.

I had to admit that this guy had nice dimples. And he is very charming too. No wonder iKON's gaining so much popularity in such a short time.

Talents, charms, youth -- They had it all.

"And I'm Y/N."

"Well, gotta go now. Maybe I'll catch up with you after this." He left with a wink.

Damn, he's got me.

I didn't expect him to be so flirty in real life but oh well, he's handsome!

While I was thinking about all that, I suddenly had a stomachache.

The toilet is located at the corner, just beside the elevator.

I normally do not like to go to the toilet because well, I'm only comfortable in my own toilet.

But I guess I've no choice today, I need the toilet.

I informed Joanne-unnie, my co-worker to stand in for me as I excused myself and went to the toilet to relieve myself.

When I was passing by the elevator, the door suddenly opened and as a reflex, I looked over to the sound.

That was a wrong move.

My eyes widened as his bulged too, and I came face to face to meet the person I was so afraid to see all this while.
