15♧ Mixed Feelings

Jinhwan's POV

Finally our debut concert starts!

We came out in a red iKON bus, of course that's only a prop and then we started to sing "Welcome Back".

All of us were enjoying the show so much! We had so much fun on stage!

"Get ready? Showtime!!"

I hear Hanbin shout to the crowd as soon as we ended the song and the crowd cheered loudly in response.

In front of us was a sea of orange-red waving lights.

Almost every iKONICs present today were flashing their KONbats as they shouted our names one by one.

I was so overwhelmed that I felt my eyes tearing up.

How long have we missed receiving so much love?

Then we performed our other songs, "My Type", "Rhythm Ta" etc. We also had interactions with the fans as we each took a camera, and went to fetch a girl to become our partner in playing some games.

As I moved the camera in the crowd, I caught sight of a familiar person.

No, she's still in the YG Building.

It's not her. Wake up, Kim Jinhwan.

You're thinking of her too much that you're starting to have illusions.

Then I shifted the camera to another fangirl and I picked her as the other members are starting to bug me to be faster.

After the session with the fangirls ended, we continued to perform the next song.

"Wait for me". Ahhhh everyone must have thought back of "Mix and Match".

The hardships we faced, the uncertainty we felt and the disappointment we experienced, I could still remember it all.

As usual, Yunhyeong being the most sensitive one started to cry first.

This isn't good, the rest of us were already having teary-eyes.

Oh no.. this is gonna make it worse.

It was now time for us to sing "Climax".

Memories started flooding back the minds of each and every one of iKON and we cried as we sang.

Too much feels. We can't.

I can see the fans crying for us too.

They feel us. They know us.

We felt so blessed to have their never-ending support from WIN era until now.

Y/N's POV

I cannot deny it but I felt uncomfortable when I saw Jinhwan doing fanservice to that girl. He held her hand and even helped her with the iKON jersey she was supposed to wear in the basketball game!

But what position do I have to feel like this huh?

I'm nothing to him.

I felt myself tearing up as they sang the song 'Climax'. The song is so full of emotions.

Though I don't really follow up iKON's progress since they were trainees, but upon hearing that song plus iKON's speech about the survival shows they had been through, and all the hard works they did in order to debut, I think I could understand their feelings right now.

Tears rolled down my cheeks.

Then guilt filled me. I felt terrible.

If I haven't hid Jinhwan's identity from him, maybe he will get back to his members earlier and maybe then they would debut earlier.

I couldn't blame him for getting angry at me. It's only natural if he hates me now.

He had been carrying the burden on his shoulders for so long and as the oldest hyung, I bet he felt sorry because he wasn't able to be with his dongsaengs at the most crucial moment.

And it was me to blame.

Finally the concert ended. iKONICs were shouting for iKON and I shouted as well. They deserved all these love and attentions.

While I was still fangirling about them, my phone vibrated. It was a message from Eun Na unnie.

Y/N, since the concert had ended please come to iKON's waiting room now. You're going to carry out your first task.

From: Eun Na unnie

I sent an 'OK' to her as I got passed the fans to get to the waiting room.

My heart thumped again and I'm going to see him face to face again.

Jinhwan's POV

I'm so glad our first concert ended smoothly. Finally we can take a rest.

We were all exhausted by that time and we returned to our waiting rooms to fetch our things.

Hanbin opened the door to the waiting room and the rest of us followed behind him.

"Y/N?" Hanbin suddenly spoke out with eagerness as he fastened his pace towards a girl. I couldn't see clearly who she was because I was behind and my sight were blocked by the giant maknaes in front of me, namely Junhoe and Chanwoo.

Wait...Y/N?

Could it be?!

I pushed passed them and finally I stood beside Hanbin and then I met eyes with her.

Why is she here?

I'm so happy yet I'm so shocked.

Then it became anger when she diverted her eyes away from me but she was smiling brightly to Hanbin.
