Annie's POV
This might not have been the best idea, I thought to myself.

Thinking about it, Brennan is like the most flirtatious guy on this planet. I mean, look at him. His instagram is full of pictures of him shirtless, and the comments are full of teenage girls dying to be with him.

Katie's YouTube channel even had to be deleted due to the excessive sexual comments. Yeah you heard me, sexual comments. Little girls literally get their panties wet, just by looking at his face.

But I can't cancel this last minute. It'll only make things worse than they already are.

I just have to brace myself. I can't fall for his traps. I need to be independent.

"Morning princess" Brennan texts me, just as I got out off the shower.

"Please don't make this awkward Brennan. And yeah good morning to you too" I immediately text back.

"Haha I'm sorry. Anyways, I'm already on my to the mall" he replies.

"I'm still getting ready. I'll be there in about half an hour"

"Okay babe 😜" he flirts.

"Brennan please 😡"

I sighed, had enough of his antics. And started to get ready. I put on a casual top with short jeans and also a tinge of makeup on my face. Not too much though, I was aiming for a natural look.

As soon as I was done, I texted him that I was on my way.

I went downstairs and looked around for either mommy or daddy. To ask them to give me a lift to the mall.

I looked all over the house, and then finally found mommy, hanging out with Hayley outside.

They were vlogging on the trampoline.

Hayley was practicing some gymnastics skills. And mommy was basically just narrating over it.

"That was great Hay" I compliment her, as she did a perfect front handspring on the trampoline.

"Thanks" she smiles at me.

Mommy finally notices me, and says "Look at my little princess, all dressed up. You look cute Annie" as she points the camera onto me.

I just smirked at it.

She turns off the camera, and asks "So I assume you're going out? And you want me to give you a ride"

"Yeah, exactly" I smirk.

"Where are you going?" she curiously asks.

"The mall" I immediately answer.

"With?" she asks again.

"Brennan"

"Brennan? I thought you guys were.." she awkwardly pauses.

I sighed, "Yeah, but we're going out just as friends"

"Hmm. Just don't do anything that could possibly hurt someone else's feelings, okay?" she advices.

It's quite weird if you think about it. My mom, warning me not to hurt Calum. I mean, I kept my relationship with Calum pretty lowkey. Cause I thought that if I told her, or any of my family for that matter, she would burst out in anger.

But actually it was the opposite. She was quite cool about it. She said that it was pretty normal for my age to have a boyfriend.

Daddy was a bit sour about it though, he said that boys can't really be trusted and that he would break anyone in half if they ever hurt me. But I got around that somehow.
