Katie's POV
"So? What did she say?" Brennan nervously asks.I smirked, "You owe me, big time" I said as he literally jumps off the sofa excitedly.
"Thank you so so so so so so so much Katie" he said and pecks me on the cheek. "You're the best sister ever!"
"I know" I chuckled at his statement.
"Look, I know you're happy and all that but remember, this might just be your last chance with her. If this doesn't work then you have to let her go, for good" I said with a serious face.
I just want him to take this seriously and not go rushing in like he always does.
"One chance is all I need Katie" he smirks.
I sarcastically laughed at what he said. "Let me tell you a thing or two about girls" I offer some advice.
"Are you serious? I'm Brennan. If anyone knows anything about girls, it's me" he said pathetically.
"Shut up Brennan. How many girls have left you? Not to mention, if you knew anything about girls, then why are we in this situation right now?" I sass.
"Woah chill Katie. I was just kidding" he tries to play it off.
"Just listen okay?"
"I'm all ears" he said.
"First and far most, DON'T treat her like shit. That's what made you lose her the last time" I warned him.
"I was stupid I know. But people make mistakes Katie. I've learned from it. Trust me" he replies.
"Good. Second of all, DON'T take this opportunity for granted. If you do, somehow get back with Annie, cherish every moment with her. Make her feel special. Care about her, ask her how's she doing every now and then. And occasionally get her things she wants, whatever that may be. Just be a good boyfriend basically"
"You know what, I take that back. Don't just be a good boyfriend. Be the best boyfriend that she could ever have. I know you can" I smiled.
He smiles back at me, "I will"
He gave me a really tight and warm hug. Not something he would normally do but I just rolled with it.
"Thanks Katie. You don't know how much this means to me" he says as he let go of me.
"I would do anything to make you happy Brennan" I say to him.
"I know. And that's why you are the best sister ever!" he says, putting his hand on my shoulder.
"Alright. This is way too sentimental" I laughed.
"I know right? Didn't know you had this in you" he chuckles.
"Now go get ready. We're leaving in a minute" I tell him as he went upstairs and into his room to get ready.
Annie's POV
I was having breakfast when all of a sudden, the doorbell rings."I'll get it!" Hayley shouts from the living room sofa.
"Who could that be?" Caleb curiously asks, as he puts down his sandwich and eagerly waited for Hayley to open the door.
"I forgot to tell you bubs. Katie and Brennan are coming over. That should be them" I answer him.
"Brennan? Why is he coming over? I mean, I don't mind him or anything. It's just, are you sure Calum is okay with this? You know he pretty much hates Brennan right?" Caleb questions.
"It's fine. He just wants to tell me something. It's nothing much. But don't let Calum know that this is happening though" I warn him.
"Well if you say so" he responds.
Hayley finally gets to the door and opens it. "Hey, nice to see you! Annie and Caleb are having breakfast. Come on in!" Hayley invites them.
I was facing the other way so I didn't get to see the door, or who exactly was coming in.
I was starting to get chills for some odd reason. But then Caleb pats me, "I thought you said Katie and Brennan are coming"
I looked behind and was caught totally off guard.
It was Calum.
