Chapter 21.

Katie's POV
"Oh my god. Could you guys stop cuddling and snuggling so much!" Brennan moans, from the other side of the sofa.

We stopped for a minute and stare at him, "Nope" I smirked.

"Seriously though. You guys are just so perfect for each other. You're making me jealous of your relationship" he says.

Caleb and I just laughs at his statement. "Heads up bro. I'm sure you'll have this kind of relationship one day" Caleb tries to make him feel better.

"Yeah bro" I sarcastically agree with Caleb, and laughed my ass off.

I just never call him bro, like ever. So that's why I found that hilarious.

"I sure hope so" Brennan slowly says, and kind of cracks his voice at the end.

I stopped laughing, and just stared at him. I then remembered the real reason we came here in the first place.

To help him talk to Annie.

"What's talking her so long? It's been over ten minutes" Brennan moans again. He's really starting to get impatient.

"You know girls" Caleb tries to calm him down.

"Well" I stood up off the sofa.

"I'm gonna go check up on her" I say, and start to make my way upstairs before being held back by Caleb.

"Wait, Katie.."

"What?" I ask, curiously.

"You can't go up there!" he answers.

I started to get a strange feeling about what's going on upstairs. But couldn't really put my finger on it.

I could tell Brennan was feeling the same way, judging by the look on his face.

"But why? I just wanna go and help her with her makeup and all that. You know.. girls stuff" I say to him.

"Erm it's just.."

"I'm not done cuddling with you yet" he answers, with the cutest face I've ever seen.

"Aww Caleb" I couldn't help but smile at him.

"Oh my god!" Brennan continues moaning, obviously feeling annoyed.

"Well then, let me check up on her!" Brennan says, before again being held back by Caleb.

"No no no" Caleb holds him back.

"She said that she wants to get ready in private. No boys allowed, she said"

"Well then, I'll go" I suggested again. I really want to see what's going on up there. Something just doesn't feel right.

"We'll cuddle later okay?" I tell Caleb and made my way upstairs.

This time, there was no excuses from him. He didn't try to hold me back or anything. He sorta just gave up.

"Cuddle? Really?" I hear Brennan say to Caleb downstairs.

I really wanna know why Caleb is acting so defensive and not letting anyone up here.

A mix of excitement and nervousness started to grow in me as I edge closer to Annie's room.
