"Umm....I don't want to start the relationship off with that, I wanna start the normal way"
He chuckled and put his hands by his mouth "So you wanna do this thing then? I thought it would be harder to convince you, since what happen earlier."

Don't think I put that shit past me cause I still feel skeptical about this whole situation which is why I recorded some of the conversation. "Well, everyone deserves a chance, and I'll be nice enough to give you that chance."
He laughed and grabbed another slice of pizza. I reached over and grabbed it and put it back in the box "Oh no, you have to go, you've been here long enough, you can go now" I pushed him towards the door. He turned to me and grabbed my cheek and kissed me. "I want to leave something soft for you to understand that I'm not really as bad as I seem."

After that he left and I went to take a shower. When I got out, I had like 10 messages from Roger which all read "I'm waiting in the living room"
I ran into the living room and he was sitting on the couch with his head down between his legs.

"So we're breaking into people house now?"
"Oh I didn't break in, I walked in, it was cracked, so I thought something was wrong but I guess you must have left it open when you got your delivery, so I just waited after I texted you."

I went back upstairs and put some bed room slides on and came back out and sat on the couch. "So wassup, why you came back?"

"Well, I want to point the obvious out to you"
"Ok, I'm all ears"
He took a deep breathe "I want us to be a thing."

My eyebrows jumped up and my eyes widened.
"What Polly, why you looking like that"
"I.....I wasn't expecting you to say that"
"What you thought I was going to say?"
" I thought you was going to mention something about you being in a gang or a lowkey genius"
He laughed and shook his head "So what do you say?"
"I really.....mmm, I don't know"
"What you mean I don't know?"

I guess he was expecting me to say [ Oh, yes, I knew you wanted this,and I wanted that too]
"Well, I thought you was just being nice and tried to keep me out of trouble since I was new and all, but I didn't know it was all that."

He just sat there a looked at me "When someone request to guide a new student and sets all the right spots for this student even though it risks the status of them, that is more than being just nice. When someone pulls every string for their cousin to get a person to talk to them just because, is more than being just nice. "Making sure you get to class on time and you get all the information you need is me being more than just nice. Me setting up dinner with you and my family was more than just being nice. I liked seeing you and I like how ambitious you are and determined for greatness, you speak so eloquently in class when you going over and answer or giving an answer, it moves me, I want you to understand that the things I did, was not because I was being nice, but because I care for you."

He took a breathe to start again but I just cut him off "I get it, and I most definitely care for you too." He looked at me and squinted "Ion think you really understand where I'm coming from Polly, I care too much for you to just for you to play with me."
I took a deep moment and had a quick battle with my spirit and flesh. "I mean it Roger, I really care for you too"
He leaned back "What kind of care?"
I leaned forward "I think I'm in love care"
He laughed.

"Well, I want this to move slowly and I want to keep it private, because once everyone knows, outside sources tend to get nasty, but I will try my hardest to make sure you're on the right path Polly and to lift your spirit up whenever you're feeling down."
We were doing this little vow thing and I thought it was so cute.
"I will try just as hard and harder to do the same for you Roger"

He didn't want a kiss, he just wanted to cross pinkies, and we did just that. Short after he just got up and left. I went up to my room and laid down "Wow Polly, you just pulled two of em...literally without even trying" . Soon as  I laid down, my moma was coming in. "He left the pizza box out, must have fallen asleep"
Sounded like she was talking to somebody the way she was talking. I got on social media for a while and just did a check up on some stuff. I seen my friend Jay and his boyfriend Kevin were going through somethings, boy the way things were handled at the party someone was having, man, I'm surprised they were still together.

I got a knock on my door so I had to do my fake sleep voice "Huh?"
"Hey get up.....come move this pizza off the table"

I got up and put on my pajama pants to go in there and when I opened the door my mom was standing in the hall with some man behind her with his shirt and pants off. "What the hell going on in here" 

His eyes shot at me. 
I walked in my moma room "Ma, what the hell is this?"
