I got up from my nap and I just sat in bed for a while.

I pulled out my computer and I face timed my friend Belle. "Hey Friend, it's been so long, I freaking miss you"

She screamed through her phone "Hey.....it's so boring without you here, everybody still wants to know what happen, boy, you got the whole school hating you."

I laughed "Why"

She side-eyed me, "You took the finest footballer here. They thought you were going to take the baseball player too but Jay already beat you to that so"

I missed Jay, he had been through a lot just to be with Kevin, I don't know why he never liked me, but hey I also can't care. "Well, it's not my fault He came on me and it was my dad who told everybody so, I don't know what they mad at me for."

"Hell yeah, so how was your first day?"

I told her all about it and as usual, she was being extra so I had to end the convo quick.

When I hung up, I went downstairs to see my mom. She was sitting in the living room watching T.V. "Hey ma," She looked back at me "Hey boy" I ran to her and I jumped on her "Don't do me like that, you know you love me." She did what any black mother would do "Boy get your ass off me, hell you too big for that."

I laughed while I got up, "Ma, what are you cooking?" She looked back at me again "You better order something, my show on, Joseline doesn't playboy" I went back to my room and I ordered some Chinese food.

When it was time for me to go get the food, my mom gave me a speech "You drive to that china house and come right back, It's late at night and they damn goons are out at this time, I don't want to have to get a call saying your Lil ass nun got shot, moved to the white people section and they still take over."

I got the keys and I went out to the car and started to drive to go get the food. When I got there Roger and some boys were sitting up by the store. I got out and I walked up to him, "Hey Roger" the other boys pushed me back and grabbed my shirt, I had grabbed one of them by the neck getting ready to fight back.

"Nah y'all it's cool I know him, he cool people." They let me go, "Oh, shit I thought we were gone have to fuck his ass up shit", one of em said.

I went in the store, fuck saying hey to Roger. I got my food and was heading back to my car.

Roger was sitting up by the car. "I got in and he was getting in the passenger side. "Hey, what you doing out this late?"

I yelled back "Aye, I just want to go home, you got your boys finna tear my ass up and then-oh hell no, I got to go," He said sorry like 5 times when I was yelling then he just got out. "I'll see you tomorrow then, bright early in the morning"

I drove out quickly. I got home, ate and took a bath then went to bed.

My alarm when off and I got up. I went to the bathroom and got ready. I walked to the kitchen and my mom had breakfast and coffee made for me. "Alright hurry up and eat so you can go"

I ate and I ended up waiting on her to finish getting ready. "Ma come on."

She came running out like I was late, and she was speeding there.

"I was looking into buying you a car soon, it might be a Beetle, so don't expect a damn BMW, I ain't paying all that money for your first car"

I laughed the whole way there to school.

I got out of the car and the school was packed. It was gonna be hard for me to take this over. I walked towards the doors and I saw Dee coming my way. "I went all the way around, he wasn't finna bump me this time." I made it to the doors and when I the door I went to my first class, I was the only one there. Everybody was outside playing or talking to their friends, and here I am sitting in class bored. I pulled my phone and I was just scrolling through my social media.

The tardy bell rang and people starting to come in. It got full, then Roger came in. "Oh my goodness", I said under my breathe. "He walked over by me and he sat in the seat by me, some girl came and just looked at him. "Ummm, you in my seat." He looked at her and leaned back. She just walked to a different seat. Class started and he was whispering stuff to me. I turned around and looked at him and he was just smiling big at me. "What" I mouthed to him. He didn't answer he just got a pen and paper and wrote down something, he balled the paper up and he passed it to me.

When I opened it it said "You kinda cute" It made me smile big but turned my head and I balled the paper back up and I put it in my bag.

The class ended but we still had three more to go. I went to my second period and I sat in a seat in the back. When the teacher came in, he was so chill. "Wassup new kid, I'm going to partner you up with Roger, it was his request" When Roger walked in He was laughing hard. He made his way back to my table and he sat beside me and just looked at me.

"Did I make you upset?" He just looked at me.

"Hello...I know you hear me talking to you."

I ignored him until it was time to do our lab, surprisingly he didn't play when it came down to work. We were the first ones to get our work done correctly. We turned our work in and I hopped on my phone. He snatched it out of my hand "I wish you stop doing me like this." I laughed "boy I'm just messing with you, gosh." He apologized again for what happened and I forgave him.

We made it to lunch. I ate by myself, Roger didn't accompany me here, but Dee did.

"Shawty wassup, I ain't seen you in the nun of my classes."

"Yeah, I got advanced so"

"So what? you think you better or something?"

I shook my head no and continued to eat my food.

He sat there while I ate and when I looked up I saw his fine ass licking his lips, I saw Roger and his boys coming over.

"Umm, I think you should go, Roger's coming." He took his jacket off showing them tattoos and he licked his lips again and said "Nah shawty, I'm here for you, Ion give a fuck bout that pussy coming."
