Chapter 2

"This is awful." I muttered as I forced myself to drink the last remains of the coffee. I'm going to kill Riz because this coffee brand is shit.

Slamming the metal can on the table, I leaned forward on my arms. Checking my watch I see that I still have an hour to kill before one of my class starts. And Kai and Alex abandoned me.

I frowned as I remembered at how close they were sitting earlier.

I shook my head, screw that. I already told myself I'm over him..

Or are you?

Screw you mind.

I am you.

I groaned as I smacked my forehead on the table. I closed my eyes as I recollect myself. This is year is crazy, and the year before.

Kai and Alex's relationship went from good to best. They were accepted in the Williams household, and Kai's parents were okay with it. I gritted my teeth at how happy and perfect they are.

Suddenly my phone started vibrating in my pocket. Fishing it out I saw that it was Riz.

"What?" I snapped, not in the mood.

She laughed, already used to me. I still find it weird at how close we've gotten these past months, but I'm not complaining. She's not like the other girls I've encountered before. She's chill, and no drama.

"Hello to you too Hothead."

I rolled my eyes, sitting up straight. I placed my phone between my ear and shoulder, as I reached for my backpack. I took out the paper Alex gave me earlier. He took the liberty to get my schedule because I'm too lazy. I admit it.

I don't even know why I'm still pursuing my studies.

"You free later on? I wanted to check this shirt and I need someone to come with me." Riz's voice asked. I tend to forget that Riz is a girl. And this is a prime example of that.

I gave a face, "The hell. Don't you have my brother to help you with that girly shit. I'm busy."

"Oh come on! Admit it or not, You have a great fashion sense. Please? Please? Puh-leeeease!" She whined that I had to move the phone away from my ear. Now I regret that first, one time I accompanied her shopping. I just randomly pointed out two boring colors and now she thinks I'm a fashion guru.

"Fine! Just shut up woman!"

I can already hear the smile in her voice. "Thanks! Text you later!"

"Bye." I muttered ending the call immediately.

I examined the paper where my schedule was written and I had to squint my eyes, because Alex's handwriting is the worse to understand.

After a few minutes, finally I figured it out. I got ready to leave when I felt a gaze on me.

I looked up to see a girl staring at me. Openly and shamelessly.

Internally smirking it's obvious she's checking me out.

She gave a sly smile taking me by surprise. So being the guy that I am, smirked at her as I bit my bottom lip. I do have my fair share of experience with girls, except Alex. He's different.

I leaned forward on the table, placing my arms on the table. As I stared back at her and weirdly enough she didn't look away. She held my gaze and none of us moved, until someone came to sit beside her.

That broke whatever moment we were having. I scoffed, easy.

I got up, grabbing my bag. Without a look behind, I started to walk out.

She's cute, but not my type.

Cute..

That reminds of that shy guy earlier.

I tried racking my brain for his name. Something with alive.

E.. Ethan. Like a light bulb. Ethan Lively.

I grinned remembering his blush when I said he was cute.

He seems interesting. Quiet but I'm sure he'll eventually speak up.

Hitching my bag on my shoulder, I started towards the next building where my first class was held. And I'm sure Alex and Kai has the same class too.

I'd probably be pissed of at the fact I have to see them all lovey dovey, but Ethan's face keeps popping in mind. I guess I have a new interest, and I'm very curious about him.

Very curious.

"Where were you?" Alex questioned, as I took the seat infront of them.

I simply shrugged, "I was thinking about my new interest."

Alex looked at Kai, who was clueless as well. They aren't mind readers. And I laughed at their faces. I faced them, as I signalled them to come closer.

"What?" Kai asked, once we've huddled in.

I grinned, "I need to know details about Ethan Lively."

"What? Why?" 

Kai gave me that look. The look that he gave me when knows I'm up to.. no good. 

I rolled my eyes, "Seriously. I just want to know the kid more." 

Alex gave me a weird look, "Yeah right. As if that's your reason. We know you Blake."

"Oh really now?" I crossed my arms, giving them an expectant look. 

Alex sighed, shaking his head, "Ethan seems like a good guy. He doesn't need to be corrupted by you."

"What the fu-"

"Blake!" Kai scolded me and I just glared back.

"I'm not saying you're a bad guy.. " Alex started before looking to Kai. 

Kai just smiled, "What Alex means is that you're too.." he stopped probably thinking for the right word for me. I could give a list though. 

I'm awesome, hot( as the girls would say), awesome, cool.. See? It's endless. 

"Crazy!" Alex exclaimed breaking me from my awesome thoughts. 

"The hell that's suppose to mean?"

Kai simply patted my shoulder, "I don't think Ethan can handle your personality Blake."

I brushed his hand off, pissed off "Whatever. I don't need you both. I can ask him myself." 

I controlled my anger, because seriously I was pissed. I got up ready to adjust myself in my seat. 

"Blake.." Alex gave me that soft look, pleading for an apology perhaps. 

I scoffed, "I'm serious though. "

"Blake." 

I leaned towards Alex, "He's interesting. Kinda reminds me of you." I whispered in his ear before fully sitting and facing the front of the class. 

Alex froze in his seat, and Kai was going to speak up when the professor entered. 

Saved by the old geezer. I'm already thinking this class will be a complete bore. 

"What he said Alex?" I heard Kai whispering to Alex.

"Uh.. no-nothing!"

I smirked to myself. It's fun teasing Alex. Just like the old times. I guess I can do that now...

With Ethan. Ethan Lively. 

Damn, I really need to find him. ASAP..
