Chapter 15

Upon arriving back home, I went straight to the kitchen and opened the fridge and grabbed two cans of coffee. In such a haste to open one I nearly cut myself.

"Shit." I ran my hand through my hair, frustrated. I want to punch something...

And I did. I punched the wall.

Shit, there's an indent. I'm sure Kai can do something about that. Finally I got some caffeine into my system as I deeply breathed in.. out.

Everyone knows that caffeine helps me calm myself, quite ironic since people use it to boost themselves up. That's probably why Alex flipped out when he found out I threw my coffee cans on the floor. I never waste coffee, it's my tranquility.

I know Riz's is up to something. She's been eyeing Ethan and I the whole fxcking time. I didn't want Ethan to feel uncomfortable, but it was inevitable. I know how Riz is, and this is her doing her best moving on.

Shit, I prefer when she didn't have feelings for me at all. It's getting on my nerves. But being the person I am, I ignored it. And I already talked to her. If she's doing some mind game shit with me, I hope I can control myself.

Done with my coffee, I stripped off my clothes and deciding that sleep is what I need and sleep is what I get.

I closed my eyes as I smiled at how Ethan's cheek would turn red. Now I wonder what runs through his mind that time..

"Good morning." Kai greeted me when I came into the kitchen. He was already dressed up and I simply nodded before heading to the fridge. Reaching out for a bottle of water, I turned back to Kai.

"Wait. Where's Alex?"

"He left early."

"What about you then? Aren't you always stuck together?" I said and took a seat across him.

He placed his spoon back on the bowl of cereals he's having, and looked at me with a placid look. In return, I raised an eyebrow.

"Are you doing fine Blake?"

I didn't answer and leaned onto the table counter.

"I heard what happened yesterday. I could go with you to visit your doctor."

"No." I snapped. I saw the surprised look on kai and I sighed, "I'm fine Kai. I've been doing fine for the whole year, and about yesterday it wasn't that serious."

He didn't look convinced, "Fine. But you know I will be there to help you out."

I gave him a devilish grin, "I know. You've been lying for me since high school."

He groaned, "Don't remind me."

"It did change though when Alex came into the picture."

He smiled probably reminiscing our senior year in high school, the year when Alex came into our lives.

"Well, you know I always got your back. Regardless of what happened before."

I chuckled, grabbing his bowl of cereals, "I know. Now leave before you get sappy on me you shithead."

He shook his head with a smile, "Fine." He got up and grabbed his bag, "By the way, we trust you with Ethan. Just be careful with him, he's fragile. "
