Edward's POV:
The doorbell rang and I walked over to answer it. As I opened the door I noticed a familiar, yet odd face I wasn't expecting.
"Hello Edward," Ashley said in her trying to be sexy voice. I couldn't help but look at her. She was wearing an incredibly short, tight dress, one that looked like it was for a seven year old.
"What do you want?" I sneered.
"You" she whispered letting herself in. "Oh what's this? Dinner for two. Well I guess you really know how to treat a girl."
"It's not for you," I told her trying to shoo her away.
"Edward. We both know what you really want. Someone who can pleasure you in more ways than just one. And lets be honest, McKenna's just not that experienced. Plus she seems like she's really cuddling up to Harry."
That last remark caught me off guard. "What are you talking about?" I asked really curious as to what she had to say.
"Just look at this photo," she said handing me a piece of paper and walking out of the house.
I looked down at it and it was McKenna and Harry. "But this couldn't have been recently right? Why does it matter?" I had to ask myself. "You really like McKenna, and McKenna really likes you. Tonight's the night that's going to show her that you really care" I said to myself.
The doorbell rang again and this time I opened it cautiously.
"Edward" McKenna exclaimed running into my arms. Before she pulled away I could smell the coconut shampoo she always used. The scent I had come to love. She looked up at me with lust filling her eyes. Her lips met mine as we stood in my doorway. When her lips finally broke away from mine, I quickly hid the photo behind my back. "What's that?" She asked trying to grab it.
"Nothing" I lied trying to keep it away from her.
She finally grabbed it and looked down at it in shock. "Where did you get this?" she questioned.
"Uhh.."
"Edward," she said sternly.
"Ashley was just here, she gave it to me"
"Why? Why did you let her in?"
"Better question is why are you and Harry clearly flirting in this picture?!"
"It's no of your business! And for you information that was before you and I were together. Don't you see she's trying to get in your head. Turning us against each other"
"McKenna, I don't want to have our first fight. But why would she bring me this?" I had to ask. I trusted her, but I resorted back to my old ways. I had to put up my defenses.
"Because she is clearly jealous. Can you really not tell this was a long time ago!"
"Please McKenna"
McKenna's POV:
"Well, if you can't trust me, then maybe I should just go," I turned around and ran straight into a warm body. I looked up, my eyes locked with a familiar face. I couldn't seem to pull my eyes away from those beautiful green eyes. "Harry? I-I thought you were going to be gone."
"How long have you been standing there?" Edward asked.
"Enough to hear that you guys were fighting," Harry said.
"Stop" I said. "I don't want to deal with this. You know CeCe was right about you Styles boys. I just need some space."
"McKenna wait," Harry said grabbing my arm.
"No Harry, you too. Please, just give me space."
I ran all the way home. Edward didn't follow me, he didn't try to stop me from leaving. He didn't even try to come after me. And that was when I knew he wasn't worth it.
