McKenna's POV:

I needed to leave. I knew running didn't solve anything but what I was feeling couldn't be described. Too much emotion was eating away at me. I needed to leave. But I didn't know where to go. I drove my car down to the train station and purchased a one way ticket to the furthest place away from Manchester. My hands shook as I looked at the clock, the train was leaving in 10 minutes. It was now or never. I picked up my bag and walked slowly over to the loading dock. I had to do this.

Marcel's POV:

I could tell McKenna was having a rough time these past couple of weeks after the phone call from Edward. In all honesty, I wanted to do everything in my power to make the pain go away, but I knew she had to deal with this on her own. If I was her shoulder to cry on, I would soon enough be a rebound. McKenna knew it too. That's why we haven't spoken in two weeks. But, it was getting to the point that I couldn't live with myself anymore. I had to come clean.

I walked up to the door, pulled at my sweater vest and ran my hands down it making sure it was perfect. I took a deep breath and rang the doorbell. "Hello Marcel, I didn't know you were stopping by today."

"Yeah, it was kind of last minute, is Margie there?"

"Yes one moment" Margie's mother turned and yelled her named. "It's lovely to see you, you haven't been around much, Margie's always at your place."

That made Marcel feel guilty. "Yeah, I'm sorry"

"Oh nothing to be sorry about"

"Hey Marcel!" Margie said flying down the stairs and into my arms. "What are you doing here?"

"Would you like to go for a walk?" I asked not wanting to make it obvious that we needed to talk.

"Sure, let me just grab my sweater" Margie said turning around and walking back inside. I took a deep breath, exhaled and turned around waiting for Margie. I heard her footsteps in the background and I knew this was it. "I didn't know you were stopping by today" Margie said seeming happy to see me.

"Sorry to show up unannounced," I apologetically stated. I knew Margie was going to grab my hand as we walked but I wasn't really sure what to do at this point. We walked down the street and made our way to the park close to her house. Before we walked over to our usual spot I stopped in my tracks. "Margie"

"Are you breaking up with me?" She asked to my shock.

"What?" I asked caught off guard.

"Marcel, a girl can tell when she is getting broken up with"

I felt so guilty and I didn't want to feel this way. Margie was an amazing girl and more similar to me than anyone else I ever met, but this wasn't fair to her. I still had feeling for McKenna that I thought were gone. I don't know if it was the fact that Harry and McKenna broke up, or the fact that I could no longer burry it, but this is what had to be done. "I am so sorry Margie. You are a truly amazing person and I have loved every minute we have spent together. It is just not fair to you, for me to not know what I want. For me to be lying to you and myself. You deserve better."

"Marcel." Margie grabbed my hand and held it between hers bringing it to her lip and kissing it. "You deserve better too. I know you think you love Mckenna, but I think you are blinded by her. Maybe we aren't meant to be together, but I don't think you and McKenna are either. But I understand why we have to break up and I honestly hope that we can still be friends, because you and I, we get each other. We know what it is liked to get ostracized and bullied. And I thank you for your time and friendship."

"I thank you Margie for understanding. I hope we can still be friends too, because like I said before you are truly amazing. Will you be okay?"

"Yes, but you better go catch McKenna, I have a feeling she might be trying to leave" Margie said to me. I gave her one last kiss on the forehead and started to run back to my car. On the way I called McKenna but it went straight to voice mail.

McKenna's POV:

I turned off my phone before anyone could talk me out of this. I boarded the train and was off to a new adventure.
