"Wake up and answer my question!" Amber yelled as she jumped near my sleeping bag. "What the heck?!" I shrieked. I was so pissed off, I dragged my sleeping bag from under her feet and she fell with a thump!
"Emberly!" she shouted. "That's what you get for waking me up in the morning. As you can see I was NEVER a morning person." I said with a straight face. I watched as she rubbed her butt, and gave me an eye.
"I'm sorry for waking you up.. But I really want to know your status with Elijah!" she whinned. "What status? We're not even friends." I explained. "Yea right. Friends sneak away from the crowd to be alone? No boyfriend and girlfriends do that." she smiled.
"Ew gross no. I don't want a boyfriend and I definitely don't want Elijah." I replied. "Are you sure? Because Sarah is making a move on your man, and she a little sneaky fox." she responded.
"She can do whatever she pleases. Now if you would excuse me, I'm going back to bed." I covered my entire body in my sleeping bag, hoping that Amber would get the idea and leave so I can have some peace and quiet. "Fine I'll go hang with Elijah then. I'll make sure Sarah don't come near him for you." she got up and rushed out the tent.
Finally some quiet. Eventually I went into a deep gaze.

After I slept for two more hours, I decided to wake up and do something productive with my life. Yes I hate this camp but sleeping all day isn't healthy right? Right. You agree. Great.
I finished my morning hygiene and I was applying my daily bug repellent and sunscreen, when Elijah peeked into my tent. "Hey Emberly!" he cheered. "Elijah! No! What if I was naked?! There are things that not even you sir are allowed to see!" I pushed his head out the tent and continued what I was doing.
"I'm sorry! Again. But I was wondering if you would like to hang out with me today?" he asked from outside the tent. "Didn't Amber hang out with you?" I giggled. "Yea and I know her plan about helping you keep me all to yourself." he whistled sweetly. Now it was my turn to peek my head outside the tent.
"I never came up with that conclusion. Amber thinks we like each other. I say it's a simple hypothesis." I replied. "Well... What if I do like you?" He said shyly. "Woah..like.. Or more like.. Like like." I questioned confusingly. He rolled his eyes and pulled me out the tent.
"Hey I will not be dragged by you every time we're together!" I protested. He let go of my arm. "I'm sorry, again I didn't mean it." he mumbled. There was a silence between us as we stood next to one another.
"Just out of curiosity..." I started breaking the silence. "Don't you have any guy friends? I bet all the boys in the camp would love to hang out with you." "Yea I do, but like I said before.. Your more interesting."
We walked around the forest, and was quicker than I expected getting to know each other. "So let me get this straight. Your mom forced you here. Your younger brother is at art camp. And your dad feels bad but he don't want to interfere with your mom because he's scared?" he chocked on a laugh.
"I don't see what's so funny." "Your father is the man of the house. He's suppose to take charge. One thing I know about my father and mother is that they compromise on things." he explained. "Okay.. So your saying they both agreed on me going?." he nodded. "I'm not slow by the way. I just don't believe my daddy doing that. I'm a daddies girl for a reason." I ushered popping my collar.
He chuckled. When we finally reached the zip lining section, Elijah was begging me to go on it with him. "Are you crazy? That's my life on the line!" I screamed. "Please Emberly, it'll be fun! And nothing will happen to your life, I'll protect you." he winked.
