I kissed Elijah. Holy bologna! Elijah was my first kiss! Oh my gosh! Wait wait...let me calm down a bit. I could literally feel my pulse bouncing like a ball. It happened last night. When I told him I -- OH MY GOSH I TOLD ELIJAH I LIKED HIM!
Oh my gosh. Oh my gosh. Oh my gosh. Why? Why would I do that? I'm too young for this. This..this thing called "love." Matter of fact I'm too young to even "like" people. Emberly..you really messed up. Big time. What happened to hating boys for life? What do I do with him now?
Are we even official? Do we call each other bf and gf? Am I even the right girl for him? "EARTH TO EM!" Amber yelled, completely bringing me back to the real world. "What happened?" she asked with concern. "I blanked out, sorry." "So... what happened last night?" she continued.
"I uh..--Kiss him?!" I nodded with embarrassment and rosy cheeks. "Yayyy that's great news Em!" I sat in silence. "Oh what now? Why aren't you excited?" she arched her brow. I sat quietly trying to come up with a reply but she beat me to it. "Don't tell me your doubting it now?" she rolled her eyes.
"Not doubt. Just being realistic in my mind." "How?" "We are too young." she responded at the same time as me. "Listen Em. I really think you and Elijah are cute. You're like two puppies who constantly play fight but then make up with licks. You're like two birds that fly and sing together in the sky. You're like--Alright I get it." I said closing her mouth.
"The point is...give him a try. At least now you can say you got him before Sarah did. You should feel proud." she cheesed. Actually that did make me happy. It's like me and Sarah were playing tug a war to win him, but I just had more people supporting me so she fell in the mud.
I giggled unexpectedly. "Thanks Amber. But please don't say anything to anyone. I don't even know how this is going to turn out." I sighed. "Let faith take its course." I rolled my eyes.

For half of the day, I spent time in the arts and craft section. I started to create a bird house, which reminded me of Charlie. He made a bird house in his art class, and it hangs outside our house every day and night. Although he is a very very annoying brother, I do miss his clingy presence being by my side 24/7.
As I was glueing the other wall, Elijah came up from behind me placing his hands on my eyes. "Guess who?" he said reenacting another voice. "Derek?" I guessed. "No. No. Guess again." "Eric." I smiled. "Do we even have an Eric here? No. One more time." "Amber stop playing with me." I laughed.
"You know what." He removed his hands and began walking the other direction. "I knew it was you. You're the only one who would risk loosing your hands if it came anywhere near my face." I admitted. "You wouldn't dare." he gasped. "What's sitting next to me?" I motioned to the hammer. "Good point."
He sat across from me, he watched as I began to finish my last wall. I was in full concentration until his face came closer to mine. "Uh no. This is not how we are doing this." I spatted. "What do you mean?" he pouted shyly."I mean you're not going to come here giving me random kisses. This is my first time liking someone, so we are taking it slow." I explained.
"But the first kiss was really good. I just missed your lips." he utterly honestly. "Too bad. Now the fact that you tried kissing me without my permission, you're not getting a kiss today." I stated. "Alright ma'am. Just one question." he wondered. "Am I your first?" "First what?" I repeated obliviously. "Kiss?" I blushed.
I watched as his face suddenly brighten. "I am." "And. Its not that important." I reminded him. "Yea I know, but I never kis--You never kissed a girl either?" I interrupted. Now it was his turn to blush. Of course he never kissed someone Emberly, he's freaking 14!
