Chapter 6:

Deeks and I are at the doctors office and were about to get our results back.

"Well, we have some good news." She says handing us a folder. I open it up and tears come to my eyes. I'm okay.

"Thank you, so much." I tell the doctor and she nods. She leaves the room to give us a moment. I wrap my arms around Deeks.

"Baby, your gonna be okay." He says with tears. Then something hits me. I can still have kids.

"Deeks, we gotta tell the team. We have to." I say with a smile across my face. We walk out of the office holding hands and go back to the hotel. We go to our room and get ready to go to the beach where everyone else is. I'm wearing a black bikini and Deeks is wearing blue swim trunks with turtles on them.

I grab my sunglasses and we walk down to the ocean. I spot Avery in her adorable purple bow swimsuit finding shells with Sebastian, Nell and Eric's son. Elliott is in the water on Callen's back. Jayden is sticking to the sand next to Anna, and man does she look happy. Jayden loves Anna, especially her style. Sadie is playing volleyball with Cam. We finally make it to where Sam, Michelle, Nell, Eric, Anna, Jayden, and Hetty are sitting.

"Hey guys! How did it go?" Anna asks. I look over at Deeks and he gives me a reassuring nod.

"Well, I'm cancer free!" I smile. They all jump up and hug me.

"I knew you were a tough one. Cancer was scared to get to you." Sam smiles. Callen walks up with Elliott still on his back.

"What in the world are those Deeks?" Callen ask looking at Deeks shorts.

"These, as a matter of fact are turtles." Deeks says sarcastically.

"Are you sure Elliott doesn't have the same pair? Because Elliott is 6." Sam counters.

"I'm positive Elliott doesn't have the same pa-" Deeks is stopped by Elliott giggling and showing his dad the same pair of shorts. I let out a chuckle.

"Daddy!" Avery screams running towards her father.

"Monster!" Deeks screams and picks her up. "How's my princess?"

"I'm great. Look what Sebby and I found!" Avery says showing us a conch shell. Everyone's eyes widen.

"Where in the world did you find that?!" Sadie screams.

"That's awesome sweetheart!" Callen says. Hetty walks up to Avery.

"You know what. This is a very special shell." Hetty says.

"Why is that?" Avery asks.

"It's special because it has an animal in there. Can't you see him?" Hetty points. Avery and Sebastian look into the shell. They both gasp.

"Daddy! There's an animal!" Sebastian screams.

"Oh there is? That's awesome buddy!" Eric says giving his son a pat on the back.

"His name shall be squishy. And he shall be my squishy. And squishy shall be mine." Avery says mimicking Dory from Finding Nemo.

"Baby, you can't keep him! He has a family who loves him very much!" I say.

"But I love him." Avery pouts. Some tears come to her eyes.

"Yes, and we love you. How do you think we would feel if someone took you away from us?" Deeks asked her. She finally got it.

"You would feel very sad. I'll put him back. But can I get a picture with him first?" She asks.

"Of course." I say. I take a quick picture of Avery and the animal and then she brings him back to where she found him.

"Goodbye Squishy!" Everyone screams. I chuckle.
