5: Jenson History

The trip to the ski mountains was one Selena would never forget. She experienced moments of her life more freely without feeling lonely. Since her parents passed away all she did was work and earn only to survive the next day. She had lost all hopes and dreams of ever traveling and being the free spirited girl she used to be. 

Selena was half way through her stay and was almost done with her article. She was in her lodge working on the finale of her article but she needed more. 

'I wonder how they got into youtube? I know they were pretty well off even before youtube' She kept talking to herself trying to figure out what the article was missing. After reading through it the hundredth time, she quickly grabbed her laptop and bag and went outside hailing a taxi.

Selena stood outside the Jenson mansion as she called it. She was ringing the door bell but no one answered. It was getting dark and quite chilly. She went around the estate and saw the boys were outside sitting and sipping on coffee.

"Someone is at the door, mind getting it?", Selena yelled over the fence, almost out of breath as she had to run a long length to get to the short gate fence.

Nate got up and quickly sprinted towards the front door. "Hey! What are you doing here?"

Selena ran back to the door and was panting now, "Wait, let me catch my breath, here hold this", She dumped her laptop on Nate's hand, then bent down touching her knees to gain balance.

"Easy there. I think I should be grabbing you instead", Nate grabbed her hand and placed it on his shoulder and she followed behind him.

"Sit, you should have called me, I would have come picked you up", Nate looked a little worried as he handed her a glass of water.

"I just wanted to get here as soon as I could, I had a couple of questions to ask you guys for the article", Selena drank the water and found herself looking at Max enter through the sliding doors.

"Hey, what brings you here today?", he gave her a confused smile.

"Just my article, hope I didn't disturb you guys".

Max looks at Nate for confirmation and Selena spots Nate nodding his head.

"No you're fine, mind if you just hang around here for a bit, we have a little meeting to attend in a few minutes", Max looked apologetic.

"Oh! I'm sorry, I should have called. It's fine, I'll go chill in the study room and watch some shows while I wait". She smiled at the boys as she grabbed her bag and laptop and headed up the spiral staircase into the room with the nice view. She had visited their place too many times by now and she knew her way around Max's house too well. Max treated her like a bro - the type of friend who was between a little sister and best friend. He would annoy her and get on her nerves every now and then. Nate on the other hand was giving Selena the butterfly feels and a constant smile on her face. Max was picking up on this and Selena knew the brothers were sharing a secret about her between themselves.

Selena placed her things on the sofa and went to stare out the window. She spotted Max, Nate and a man in a grey business suit, holding a suitcase. They entered inside Nate's house and gathered around the dinning table.

 'Wonder what's that all about? Is that their business partner? Or maybe it's the lawyer',  She thought to herself.

Half an hour later the door bell rang and because the boys were still busy in the meeting, Selena rushed towards the door and opened it.

"Hey ... oh heey there!",  A tall blonde guy stood at the doorstep. He looked surprised to find a girl present at this house, "Is Nate around?", he raised his eyebrows, still looking shocked.
