Another beautiful day in paradise. All was calm and serene. The world was just beginning to wake up. And by that I mean that Andy was parading around the house in a super loud manor, and causing a ruckus.

Flustered, I through the covers off me and marched downstairs to see what the event for such unnecessary noise was.

As I hit the bottom step, Andy appeared through the arch way. "Oh good, you're up," he kissed me, "I was just about to wake you."

I stopped, peered at the clock on the adjacent wall. "Andy, it's only 5:45. What are you doing?" I yawned.

"Well," He looked at me in a sheepish way, "I was hoping that you would agree to go watch the sun rise with me this morning. We've been here for so long and haven't seen the sun rise once." He grabbed my hands and peered into my eyes anticipating a positive answer.

I sighed, "How can I tell you no when you look so cute when you're eager." A wide grin spread across his face. He hightailed it back into the kitchen, pots clattering to the floor. Realizing that I lost the battle with sleeping till the mid-hours of the day, I stepped into the living room and flipped on some news. It was early, so it was all the tragic stories and the weather for the morning rush.

"Scarlette!" Andy yelled from the kitchen. "Come here." His intonation made me think that he was mad at me for some unknown reason.

"What do you want?" I said, leaning against the archway.

He was holding two different kinds of lunch meat, "Do you want hard salami or ham?"

Seeing this as the most awkward opportune moment, I walked over and lowered is hands. I kissed him fully and whispered, "I don't know, surprise me." He grinned and turned into a flurry of sandwich making madness.

After the unusual clatter for making sandwiches to go watch the sunrise, we finally departed from the house. It wasn't a long drive to where he had planned to go, but it seemed like it took forever. I blamed drowsiness.

We arrived at small vista point. The grass was still dewy and the birds were just beginning to chirp. Andy placed his pitiful sandwich bags on the table and sat down. "Well, what do you think?"

I sat next to him, "I think the ground is extremely wet and that bird is really annoying."

Although most people would take this as an attitude, Andy gets me and correctly responds, "Well, that's expected. You're angry at everything."

I kissed him, and then gazed at the sky. The colors of the sky were just beginning to show and It was beautiful. Nature's rainbow. Well, nature's sky rainbow. It seemed like nothing  could touch us.

We just sat there, hands intertwined, in the gracefulness is daybreak. Silhouetted by a gorgeous sky.
