Life on tour was good, I mean, how could it not be. I was in a bus with the most caring and considerate fun guys, and my more than amazing boyfriend. We were a family.

We were arriving in St Louis tonight, I heard there's a really pumped up crowd in St Louis, we were all very excited because we heard these kids were crazy. We were crossing over from Illinois, so we were getting ready, but in no big rush, we had a few hours still till show.

Andy approached me in the process of lacing up my very complicated boots. He sat down on the ground infront of me, as not to distract me from my focus.

"So, since we're staying the night here in St Louis, the guys and I decided to rent a few hotel rooms, we decided it was time to sleep in real beds, but I'm going to take you out tonight. Just you and me."

I finished the final knot and looked, meeting his deep blue eyes. They sucked me in like a vortex, a vortex that I didn't want to escape from. He smiled, lighting up his eyes. "Of course, I wouldn't miss it for the world. Where are we going?"

He broke our gazing, looking down, "I haven't thought that far, no where to fancy, because we're going there in warpaint and leather."

I thought, "I saw a place called Fast Eddy's, its a sports bar, but it seemed like a bunch of fun. Maybe we should try there."

Andy nodded his head, "If it sounds good to you, it sounds good to me." He held out his hand, helping me up.

I walked in the main area, everybody was ready, but we still had time to kill. Ashley was inpatiently popping his gum, CC was sipping whiskey, and Jake and Jinxx were playing guitar. I pulled up a stool and sat near them. Picking up the tune they were in, I started to hum. As my imaginative juices started flowing, I started singing. I was making it up on the fly. Andy, hearing the quality of my lyrics, grabbed a notebook and started writing down the lyrics. CC caught on start hand drumming on his lap, and Ashley picked up a rubberband and started plucking at it. It was a full scale jam session.

After we were done, Andy just looked at me, amazed at the lyrics I had just layed down. He looked down and read them again, and shook his head as if he couldn't believe that it had just been made up then and there. He then looked at me, and handed me the notebook, I read what I had sung, and amazed myself.

"We're definatly using this, this has to be used when we actually produce a full album, what should we name it." He peered up at me.

I thought, read the lyrics again, and decided, "Carolyn."

Andy turned his head to the side in a quizzical look, "Why Carolyn?"

I honestly didn't know, "It just worked. It seems to fit." Andy nodded his head and didn't question me further, he took the notebook, and scribbled the name down.

"Guys, do you remember what you played and how you played it?" The guys all nodded their head yes, "Good, Scarlette's taking the stage. We're performing this tonight."

My eyes opened wide, "What?"

Andy just looked at me, then reached over and grabbed my hand, "Yes, this has a great message, just what we need for our fans. You made the lyrics, you sing the song."

I mulled it over, and my smile spread across my face, "Alright."

Andy smiled real big, "Yes!"

Before we knew it, it was show time. The crowd was screaming full force, I was getting nervous. Andy, seeing my nervousness came over and grabbed me around the waist and kissed my forehead, "Don't worry, it'll be fine. They will love you." he then turned around, and ran onstage.
