Rob's Perspective
I groaned, rolling over in bed. The clock across from me reading 2:35. Thank God it was Sunday. I sat up, exhausted with the major flaw in my sleep schedule.
I tried to picture what we had done, yet my memory was failing me.
It was something about a hospital... Lachlan... Vikk...
Wait. Vikk.
Did that all happen this weekend? Damn.I got out of bed, reaching my arms behind my head. The joints in my limbs popped, falling comfortably into place. I threw on a sweatshirt to combat the cool draft sneaking into my house. Vikk was still asleep, the blanket was tugged tight around his shoulders. His face was formed into a small pout, knees pulled into his chest.
Vikk, I decided, slept like a knot, making himself look as small as possible.I heard a small knock on the door, an also exhausted Lachlan standing on the other side. He was leaning on a single crutch, the rewrapped gauze protecting his ankle. I opened the door, running my hand through my messy hair. Lachlan's was worse then mine, his long, blonde bangs falling over onto his face.
"You just wake up?"
"Yeah, you?"
"Yeah."
I let the blonde Aussie inside.
Lachlan half sat on the counter, folding his arms across his chest. He bit down on his thumb nail, ocean blue eyes scanning the living room couch."Umm, Rob- how long is Vikk going to stay here?"
"I don't know really. I'd assume Jay would come back for him soon. Why? Are you gonna miss him?"
My voice rose a pitch higher at the end, teasing the blondie."Who?"
Vikk sat up from the couch, rubbing his red eyes. I had figured I would never get used to that. The bright red. The blanket was draped over his right shoulder, my overly large t-shirt revealing a portion of his left collarbone. Lachlan looked down, the tiled floor becoming interesting.
"Hey Vikky."
"Hi Lachy. Sleep well?"
"No. You?"
"Yeah. Thanks to Rob."
I smirked at the two, they were so painfully awkward with each other and it was adorable.
"Well, you two love birds can hang out here. I'm going to go take a shower."I left Lachlan and Vikk, hiding behind the wall to hear their conversation...
Lachlan's Perspective
Vikk sat up from the couch, wrapping the blanket around his shoulders like a cape. Due to his height, the blanket made a trail behind him. His hair was messing, eyes faded and still sleepy.
"Vikk. Would you want to go somewhere tonight?"
"With you?"
I nodded.
"Yeah. I would love too."
