Vikk's Perspective

"Rob! Can you help me?"
I stood in front of the canadian's closet, flipping through the different shirts. I was struggling with both my height and size. Rob, of course, was taller than me, and I was significantly smaller than him.

"Yeah Vikk. What's up?"

I crossed my arms over my chest, pouting at the closet. I was still wearing Rob's sleep clothes, mine from the night before ripped and stained.
"I don't have anything to wear for tonight..."

Rob smiled at me, arching his eyebrows amusingly.
"Well come on then Cinderella, we need to get you ready for the ball."

----
I closed the door to the changing room, Rob having handed me handfuls of clothing. I slipped out of the sweatpants I had borrowed, pulling on a pair of black jeans. The shirt was a simple short sleeved white button up, with a pattern of, wait? Moths. The shirt was printed with moths... A bit strange, but it fit well, snug against my chest.
I opened the door, revealing my outfit. Rob shrugged, his expression unreadable. His voice monotone.

"Next."

The next outfit was a bit better, faded skinny jeans and a plain white button up. I pulled a black suit jacket over the shirt, a thin red tie around my neck. My reflection in this outfit excited me, I felt invincible, I felt like I could do anything. Rob nodded, smiling at me when he saw the outfit.

"That's the one. It's perfect. He'll love it, trust me."

I could barely hide my excitement. The smile on my face was spread from ear to ear, my fangs overlapping my bottom lip. I went back into the changing room, hanging back up all the clothes I had previously tried on. I slipped back into the oversized sweatpants, draping the outfits over my arm.

"Ready to go?"

"Yeah."

Rob had picked out a few more basics for everyday. A few band t-shirts, a couple pairs of jeans, and I even spotted a beanie or two. He placed all the clothes on the register, the salesperson starting to scan through the items.

"How was everything for you two men today? Did you find everything okay?"

"Yep! This nerd has a date tonight and needed help picking out his outfit."

Rob nudged my shoulder, a soft blush spreading up my cheeks.
"Oh, well she must be a very lucky girl."

"I'll be sure to tell him that."
I half mumbled, trying to hide my fangs. I usually never talked to humans, besides, of course, Rob, Lachlan, and Mitch.

"Oh, well then, tell him he is a very lucky man. I hope you don't think I'm homopho..."
Another girl came up behind the register, she had sheared hair, brushed away from her face. She wrapped her arms around the cashier.

"You need any help babe? Woah. I love your eye color! Are those contacts?"
The cashier blushed, placing her head into her hands.

"Like I was saying, please don't think I'm homophobic. This loser right here is Allison."

"Thank you so much. And yes, they're lenses."

She bagged up the clothing, Rob handing her a small plastic card. I felt almost embarrassed, Rob taking care of me like I was a three year old.
"Enjoy your date sir."

"I will. Thanks."
I carried most of the bags out to Rob's car. He unlocked the doors, throwing our newly bought items into the back seat.

"Thanks Rob...."

"It's no prob...."

"No, stop right there, please. Thank you so much. For letting me stay with you. For helping me. For getting me new clothes."

I gestured back to the purchases.
"For everything. Thank you."

"Vikk. It's okay. You make Lachlan happy, and as his friend, that means a ton to me. He hasn't always been the most stable person and you've turned his life around. So, I should be thanking you."
I sat back, smiling to myself. I had a new life, with Lachlan, and Rob, and Mitch. I missed Jay, and Preston, and Jerome, Ashley, Alesa. Hell, I even missed Rosy.

"Hey Vikk... Umm, when we went to the Cirque. What about Preston? Is he, you know, available."
I smirked, glancing at Rob. His cheeks were pink.

"Why? You like him?"

"I- Umm. Yeah."

"He's had a few girlfriends in the past, they all were scared away though. I guess most people aren't fans of a partner who can start a fire in their bare hands."

"I love him... The night we had to stay there. I love him so much."
I giggled to myself.

"What?"

"Nothing. Don't worry Rob. I think he likes you too. I wish I knew where The Cirque was performing next. We could go and watch."

"Yeah I wish so too. We could bring Mitch along too, he hit it off with Jerome prettttttttty quickly."
