*Kyra's POV*

I woke up shortly and saw all the guys in front of me except Ricky who was knocked out and tied down.

"I can smell her blood, why is she hurt?" The man said

Smell my blood? Dafuck I thought to myself. I was on the floor and I looked at my bloody arm and I groaned.

"You can't take her from us" ghost said

The man chuckled and in a millisecond he was right next to me. He held my arm out and licked My wounds. They healed in a few seconds.

"W-what?" I groaned

"Oh sorry, I'm Alec" he said

He picked me up bridal style and began to walk towards the door.

"Say goodbye to her cause you'll never see her again" Alec said

"As soon as we finish our transitions, you'll be dead" ghost growled at Alec.

Alec smiled "goodbye then"

Then he carried me out to a car and sat me in the passenger seat .

"Ghost" I whispered

Alec opened the drivers side and sat down. I looked at him with worry and concern.

"Who are you,what are you and what do you want with me?" I said.

He grinned "first off, I'm Alec mirane second, I'm a vampire that has a lot of power, and last but certainly not least... I love you more than life and I NEED you" he finished in a serious tone.

I looked over and bit my lip. We pulled out of the driveway and onto a highway.

*Time Skip*

We pulled up to this house⬇

And he took my hand and helped me out. As soon as we walked in I looked at the beautiful scenes of the house. When we reached the middle of the room. He turned me around so my back was to him.

He brushed my hair to the side and grabbed my shoulder.

"Alec.." I said

"Shh relax, I'm not going to eat you, I'm just taking in your scent so that way if I lose you I can track you down" he said

He kissed my shoulder and dragged his fangs against my neck.

"Just don't run" he whispered.

I gulped and breathed in sharply. He swung himself in front of me and looked me in the eyes. He took my hand and led me upstairs to a huge room. He grabbed my shoulders and kissed my cheek.

"This is our room" Alec said.

I relaxed a bit and bit my lip. Ghost I thought.

"I want answers" I said turning around quickly and looking him in the eyes.

He looked at me arching an eyebrow "well what kind of answers?" He said crossing his arms.

I crossed my arms "what did ghost mean by transition?" I asked first.

"Well they are at the 6th stage of transitioning into vampires and Ricky must have reached his 7th stage" Alec said.

"Also why are all of you after me?" I said looking him in the eyes showing no fear.

"Well I had been following you for about 2 years because I knew you were the one...but those fledglings got in the way by taking you first for ghost because ghost put up a blood vow stating that until he laid a hand on you no other vampire could touch you" Alec said.

He led me to the bed and sat me down.

"You need to eat and get some sleep, trust me you'll feel a lot better" he said crouching to my level and kissing my forehead.
I nodded my head and got up and followed him to the stair case. I tripped but in a split second Alec had his arm around my waist and held me.

"You OK?" He asked

I nodded my head again and went downstairs to the kitchen. He pulled out some pre-made sandwiches and sat them in front of me.

"Here you go and I have to go catch my dinner" Alec said grabbing his leather jacket on the way out and was out the door before I could blink.

I looked down at my sandwich's and ate them all. After I was done I threw the garbage away and looked around the house a bit. All the thoughts flew through my mind vampires,ghost, kidnap it all just poured in.

I leaned on one of the huge window frames and looked at the forest in front of me. I'm not running I told myself. And closed my eyes and rested against the window.

*Alec POV*

I walked down the city streets and I could feel my mates sleepiness inside my heart. (Its a connection thing) I found my victim, a tall, blond girl that was walking alone. I could smell her blood and my fangs came out.

I went to her and shoved her into an alley covering her mouth. I could feel her heartbeat and I could feel the blood pump even more as she struggled. I bit into her neck feeling the warm blood drizzle down my mouth.

She began to go limp and I could hear her scream quietly. I kept drinking from her and killed her. I dropped her body and examined my mess. I crouched and examined the girl that lay at my feet. All I could think was Kyra I tried to shake it off but it only grew stronger.

I stood up and growled. I satisfied my thirst but Kyra lingered in my mind. I could feel her sleeping in my head which made me happy. I turned back and began walking home trying to wipe blood off my mouth.

"I'll be home soon love" I whispered

I ran (super speed) to the house and walked in. I saw kyra in a ball against the window. I grinned and picked her up gently and carried her upstairs. She didn't stir once and for once she looked peaceful.

I laid her on my bed and took off her blood soaked shirt and threw it out can't take that smell I thought. I put her in one of mine and put her under my blankets. I stroked her face and breathed in her scent.

I wrapped her in my arms and kept her safe. I could feel the trauma course threw her veins and the stress in her heart. I snuggled her closer and thought about the guys I stole her from. When they turn they might take her I thought. I sighed and put my cheek against her head and closed my eyes.
