My name is Shawn, and I'm 24 years old. I live in Hidden Hills, California in my newly bought condo. I own 2 of the largest restaurants with 2 famous night club here in the city which accommodates to my well living.
Money may be least of my worries but a relationship, that department needs a little tweaking. Just last month my now Ex- girlfriend was caught cheating on me, the thing is it didn't bother me at all, not only because I already knew she was cheating, but I was never happy in the relationship and something wasn't feeling as it should and when I had the excuse to let her go, I chose the only way out, and dumped her ass.
The only person in my life that hasn't let me down is my buddy Jamal whenever I'm with him, I feel complete, Sometimes it scares me just how much love I have for him.
Jamal's been my best friend since high school and I happen to be the only one that knows that he's gay. I still accept him even though he's gay, I don't treat him any different because he's a good person and friend to me.
Although his immediate family doesn't know about him being gay, I know and I consider him family.
Which is why I'm currently trying to set up his dinner party next month, twenty seven years is a big deal when you're our age. Hearing the phone ring on the other side of the room I run over and quickly pick up.
"Hello" I say walking back to the table I was working on.
"Shawn, we need to talk" I recognize her voice and rolled my eyes know she's going to beg me back. That's what they all do.
"What now Dana? I'm busy" I cut her off ready to hang up.
"Look you should at least listen if you don't want to meet up" she quickly rushes.
"What?" I sigh rubbing my eyes ready for the bullshit ik about to hear.
"I'm pregnant and you're the only guy I've slept with" she says just as a wicked laugh escapes me.
"Dana get off my line please" I begin removing the phone from my ear.
"Zack and I never slept together we were waiting, you really are pease see me tomorrow at the Grove" she rushes as I roll my eyes
"Bye Dana"
"Noon-" I hang up an place the phone down going back to work. The sad thing is in the back of my mind I believed her.
Author's note- Well this is my first story, so it's probably bad but I'm trying. The chapters are going to be longer this is just the intro to give you guys a history of who some of the characters are and what's happening. So yeahhhh enjoyyy
