Chapter 9

OMG I really kissed him, I kept on thinking. I walked out of the room and I just needed some time to think.

It felt so right when I did even, now I want to do it again but I'm scared of the outcome and I don't want to fuck his life up, especially when I have a baby on the way.

I walked to my car and just sat in it, listening to music. I'm so confused right now.

"Fuckkkkk" I yelled.

Tears started streaming down my face, I feel like a punk bruh. I'm running away from shit all the time.

I got out the car and walked back into the hospital. I went to the front desk to talk to the lady.

"Hi, ummm when is Jamal Smith being released.

"Well according to the forms I see that he should be released in less than 24 hours, so most likely he should be released around 5."

" Thank you very much" I said then walked back to his room.

When I got to his room the doctor was just getting out.

I walked in and seen Jamal on his phone.

He set his phone down and looked at me.

"So did the doctor tell you when your being released?"

" Yep he said he's just getting the papers and I'm free to go."

"Ok cool." I said and sat down.

"Listen Jamal I don't want to hurt you, your free to do what you want and I know I kissed you but my life is messed up and I don't want to hurt you, so we can just move on."

" I'm fine with that."

The nurse came in with the papers and he signed them and we were free to go.

We walked out the hospital and went to my car. We got in and I drove off to his place, but the car ride was silent.

"Shawn listen it was just a kiss so there's no need to act different let's just move on like you said."

I was shocked for some odd reason, I looked at him then focused back on the road.

"Sorry Jamal I was just thinking, that's why I'm not really talking, but your right."

" Good"

We got to Jamal's place and I parked the car.

" Jamal do you want me to come with you or leave."

"You can leave I'll be fine, and thank you for everything I really appreciate" he hugged me then got out.

I watched him go upstairs then I left.

Shawn dropped me off home and now I'm going upstairs to my condo.

I unlocked it then got in with the spare key. I went in the kitchen cause I was hungry, I made a sandwich then got my hot fries, my fruit roll ups, and a bottle of water.

I went in the living room and turned on the TV. I was watching LMN cause I just love their movies. Then I just ate my food.

When the show went on commercial I grabbed my phone and texted James, just to see if he was up.

Me- hey what's up.

James- hey, I was just laying down but why are you up so early?

I didn't even notice the time it was already 5:40.
