Elias knocked me out, and tied me to a tree.
It took me 4 hours to get free of the ropes, then another 2 to get back to the Institution. When I got back, I found out that Elias's father, Silas, was alive, and that he had gone after Elias and Althea. He came back a few days later, and he said that they had gotten away. He said that he'd thought Elias had been at death's door, Althea wouldn't be too far behind. He also said that they had found a group of human survivors, and two of them were Zachariah and Viktoria Grey, whom we had thought were dead. He told me he didn't know who the other person was.
"We need to take extreme measures now! These two have evaded us for far to long!" I yelled, my followers screaming for blood. "We spread out! Search every house in every town! Three teams search through the woods! Me and my teams will search through the air!". Silas walked up to me where I stood on a platform. "What about my son? Do you think I want this? My son being lead around like a love sick puppy! It's not his fault!" he said in a moderately quiet voice. "If your son decides to choose the right side, then he will be saved. If he doesn't, then he will die" I said simply. "He's my son!" "And a few days ago, you brought him to death's door".
We were in my hovercraft, flying silently through the sky, searching. Althea had decided me for years by herself, so it didn't really surprise me that we hadn't found them yet. It didn't make it any less frustrating. We'd been looking for 5 days now. "How are we going to find them, if they don't want to be found? It'll be almost impossible to find them" Silas said. "Yes, I know. And we'll find them, don't worry" I told him. We had to find them. Althea and Elias would die. It was destined for at least one of them to die. Why not kill two birds with one stone? They didn't deserve to live after what they did! Silas was doubtful. I wanted to cut him loose, he just kept slowing me down. I would have 3 days ago, but I didn't want him to go running to his son and blabbing everything. I was contemplating killing him. If he sided with his son, I wouldn't have another choice. He kept saying that Althea's siblings would fight for her and Elias. And there was that other guy, who we had found out from someone in one of my teams was Grayson Fell. He was powerful for someone who is supposedly human, and very strong. Definitely someone to watch out for.
Another day passed, and still, nothing. The last house we searched was one they had obviously just left sometime in the last hour. I paced around yelling, swearing, and throwing things. I was beyond angry. We had just missed them! Why?! Why couldn't anything go right?! I swore a few more times before I could finally calm down. "Alright! We need to keep moving! They CAN'T be far from here!" I yelled, then everyone followed my orders. Silas and I got back on the hovercraft, and we led the search. A few hours later, we saw a small group of people creeping in the shadows of the buildings. There were 2 girls and 3 boys. I recognized Althea's light brown hair, and her brother's fair hair. They stood out very clearly in the dark, meanwhile, Althea's sister's, and Elias's dark hair helped them blend in well. We could barely see Grayson, just his outline. We landed on the top of a store, and I bounded down the stairs. By the time I got to them, they were surrounded. Vik, was clinging to Zach and Althea. Elias had his arm around Althea. Grayson stood in front, a gun in one hand and a knife in the other. He looked like a miniature giant, standing there, hulking over my teams. I pushed forward. Althea breathed in a sharp breath, then Elias did to when Silas pushed his way to me. "Hello, Althea, Elias" I said. Silas didn't say anything, just stood there staring at Elias. "How did you find us?!" Althea asked. "Oh, it wasn't hard. Just followed the trial. If only you had left your safe house earlier, then maybe we wouldn't be here now" I told her, rubbing it in that I was smarter than them. "Why can't you just leave us alone?!" Althea yelled. "Because! I can't let you get away! I can't let you take the world from us!" I yelled back. "Oh?! You mean like you did to us, around 17 years ago?! My parents are dead because of you! Because of your people!" she screamed.
