Sammy POV

I walked up the street to see Adam walking. Great I can't deal with that guy. I tried to hide but he was finally at me. "Hello there Sammy!" He said.

"One day one day to leave me alone." I begged.

"No." He grabbed the back of my shirt and dragged me to Jerome's house. "Ohhhh Jerome I have a little surprise!" He yelled. I was tied up.

Jerome walked out of his house "Sammy? Adam what are you planning?!" Jerome took a step forward but Adam stopped him.

"Pay the money you owe me or little cry baby Sammy will face the locker again." My eyes widened. "Oh and I won't let her out. Until the debts payed." He dragged me to the school and threw me into a locker and locked it.

"Let me out please I'll pay the debt!" He laughed and left me.

Jerome's POV

I dug through my room and found 49 bucks. I ran to Adam and handed it to him. "You owe me $50." I sighed.

"Can you forget the $1?"

"Nope." I ran all around but couldn't find the flipping dollar. I ran to Kats.

"It's an emergency I need a dollar!" I yelled.

"What for?" Kat asked.

"Just give me the dollar before Sammy gets claustrophobic!" She gave me a dollar and followed me to the school.

"Here's your dollar now get Sammy out of there!" I yelled.

"No I think I'll wait a little while." I slapped him but he ran away. I walked to the locker.

"Puppy? You okay?"

"G-give him the money." She said.

"I did but he won't let you out for a while." I looked at Kat. Her face red with anger.

"I'll take care of that little..." I cut her off with a tsk tsk. She nodded and ran off. I turned back to the locker.

"You be out soon baby." I followed Kat leaving Sammy in the locker.

Kats POV

I cracked a couple knuckles on my hands, getting another on my neck.

"Just stand back and let me take care of him." I commanded. "Stay with Sammy." He nodded, running off. I walked down the empty halls, letting my hand trace the outlines of the lockers. I found him laughing in the boy's bathroom, counting the money he has. I smiled, slowly opening the door. It made no sound as I slipped into the bathroom, making sure nothing would make any noise.

"50 big ones, nice." He quietly cheered. He was in the big stall at the end, door locked. I could tell he was standing up, slowly pacing around. I silently giggled, wanting to play with his mind a little bit. I took a penny out of my pocket that I had and got it ready to throw. Tiptoeing into one of the stalls, I stood on the toilet as I threw the penny near the door. It clattered to the ground, grabbing his attention. I saw him put the money in his back pocket, along with a slip of paper.

As quiet as a mouse, I grabbed the money and paper while he went to search what the noise was. After hearing him pick up the penny, I flushed the toilet, quickly hopping to the next stall. I heard him open the door, searching inside. With speed and stealth, I ran out the door, shutting it with no noise. I put the money in my pocket, looking at the paper.

"Idiot, can't even memorize a lock number." I whispered as I looked to see the paper was the locker code. I ran back to the others, making my footsteps whispers of the wind.

"Kat!" Jerome cheered.

"Kat? Is that you?" Sammy asked, the quiver in her voice was noticeable.

"Yep, and I'm gonna get you outta there." I hushed her, putting in the code. As soon as she was free she jumped into my arms.

"Oh thanks kitty! You saved my butt!" She cheered. I ruffled her hair.

"Friends gotta stick together, remember?" She nodded, standing up. "Now let's go before numb nuts finally realizes his money's gone." I said, handing Jerome his money back. He nodded, running along with the rest of us.

We rounded the corner to see Adam, smoke blowing out his ears.

"Who took my money?!" He yelled, taking a step closer. I looked around to see a window leading to the outside world. It wasn't that far from the ground. I pulled them both over, backing up a few steps.

"Kat?! What are you doing?" Sammy asked. I smiled.

"Getting us a way out." I said before running into the glass, breaking it. I fell to the grass, doing a summer salt before standing up. "Jerome, push Sammy down now!" I yelled. He nodded, picking up Sammy. With a toss, I had her in my arms. Setting her down, I caught Jerome just in time. "Now, follow me." I said, bringing them to the  parking lot. A motorcycle waited in the bare lot.

"We're riding that?!" Jerome asked wearily. I nodded.

"I've ridden it before, see." I showed them my mom's motorcycle license. "She got it in New Hampshire while we were up there for a few weeks. I use it to drive to the library a lot." I said, putting on my helmet. I tossed them both two other helmets, giving Sammy space to sit behind me.

"Think it'll fit us?" Sammy asked. I nodded.

"It can fit up to four people. I'm sure we're fine, but we have to hurry." I rushed them. Jerome got on last, grabbing onto Sammy who was holding onto me. I started the engine, pulling out of the lot and into the street.
