A new day a new start

Kat's POV

I awoke to the strum of my alarm again. I turned it off and raced to my closet, looking at all the outfits that would be suitable to wear. I finally picked out a dark blue shirt and a white sweater along with some navy jeans. Today is a day 6, I don't need sneakers today for gym so I threw on my light brown ugg's. After getting my bag ready and eating and everything else, I ran outside to the bus to try and meet the new kids at school.

As I hopped onto the bus, I noticed a kid sitting in my spot. I marched up to him and sat down, getting his attention. "Hi! I'm Kat, what's your name?" I asked. The boy had red hair and a cute smile. "H-Hi Kat, I-I'm Max." The boy stuttered. Man, he's really shy.

We soon arrived at the school, waiting in the cafeteria. "Need any help with anything?" I asked, trying to be polite. He nodded. "Do you know where the-." "YYYAAAAAYYYY!!" Johnny yelled. I looked in his direction. "Shut up Johnny or I'll come over there and do it myself!" I threw a pencil from the ground at him, getting his arm with the sharp end of the pencil. "Owww." He whined. "Suck it up." I said and put my attention back to Max. "Continue." I said. He nodded and showed me his schedule. "I need to get to Mrs. Dresser's room for homeroom." He pointed to where it said Mrs.Dresser's name was and where it said homeroom. I mentally screamed. "Oh just follow me, that's my homeroom too!" I jumped. The lights soon flickered and we headed to our lockers.

I sat down with my stuff at my desk and Max walked up to our teacher, asking for a locker. He soon came over, disappointed. "What's wrong?" I asked, he looked sad. "I won't have a locker until next week, I don't know where to put my things now." A brilliant idea popped into my head. "Hey, maybe you can share a locker with me until you get one, I only put my bag and English book in it!" I exclaimed, jumping up. A smile replaced his frown and we both ran to my locker. I showed him which locker I had and the combination. We soon came back in the classroom with big grins on our faces, determined to get through the day.

Sammy's POV

Waking up to the annoying sound of my alarm I pushed the covers off me and groaned as I pressed the Alarm Off button. I pulled on the dress and wedges and walked across the hall to see my little brother Joey already there "why are you so up early?" I asked not really caring. "Because" he said, I rolled my eyes and poured my self some Lucky Charms and began eating. The sound of the stairs creaking warned me of my mother and father "hi mama hi daddy" I said as they entered the kitchen "good morning" they chorused as my grandmother walked in "hello" she sang "hi grandma" Joey yelled jumping into her arms, I placed my bowl in the sink hugged my parents and grandparent and went into the bathroom, brushing my hair and teeth I heard my parents leave "BYE!" I yelled though the were only down the hall "bye" they said as mom drove off the Quincy for teaching and dad to Weymouth for the fire station.

After I was ready I kissed my grandmother goodbye, my older brother Aaron and I walked outside. Aaron is a senior in college so he drives to school. I walked down the street pulled out my phone and began writing a new chapter of my story till the bus came. I hopped on the bus where there say Noah, Joe, Adam, and Jack, yay the jerks. (Note the sarcasm) well actually jacks nice to me, luckily a couple minutes later we pull up at Noel's house who is my friend, then at Sydney's (who's special needs but I still like her she's really nice.)

Since it was a Day 6 I grabbed my Spanish and Math books and sat in my usual seat "Sammy did you here about the new students?" Asked Nate "yup Kat told me I wonder who Itll be" I said then the bell rang and I watched everyone file out of the room as I stayed there in my Spanish class seat when everyone else walked in gossiping and whispering about the new kids.

I decided it'll be a few minutes till Señor Sandberg would be in the class room so I pulled out my phone and checked the new students names "Jerome, Max, and Mitch" I told my group mates (Jada, Holly, Cole) "one of there names are pretty interesting" said Cole "don't be so salty" Jada said.

When Señor Sandberg walked in Jada called "Salty Sandberg" and laughed as she does every day. Then a boy with brown hair walked in "um I was told this was Mr.Sandbergs room?" He asked "oh Sí welcome are you Jerome?" Asked Señor Sandberg "yes sir" "okay Cole how about you move over with Tyler Cullen and Ryan and Jerome you can sit with Holly, Jada, and Sammy...Sammy can you show him the rest of his classes for the day?" Asked Señor Sandberg  "sí señor" I smiled and nodded at Jerome he was kind of cute...no...Sammy don't he cannot CANNOT be your first crush stop it...but he's so perfect. Jerome sat next to me, Jada said hi Holly waved and I said "Hola me llamo Sammy" he smiled "hola im Sammy soy Jerome nos fijamos preciosa favor de conocerte" I looked confused "Jerome Sammy please save the talk till after class."

As I lead Jerome to my locker since he told me he didn't have one yet he placed all his books in mine and he grabbed his math "so your on team?" I asked "2" he replied "okay we have the same math class follow me and what did you tell me I'm Spanish class?" "I said hello Sammy I am Jerome you look lovely please to meet you" I blushed a little as we walked into math. Since he already knows me Mrs.Dresser had Jerome sit next to me and we talked all through the first five minutes during our problem of the day.
