A new friend

Sammy's POV

At fifth period Kat and I both had social studies long block and first lunch along with Max and Jerome. We entered the cafeteria to see a boy sitting at our usual spot in the front table closest to the door all alone "hi" I said giving a smile and sitting next to him Kat sat across from me Max sat next to Kat across the boy and Jerome in the other side of me "oh hello" said the boy startled "hi I'm Kat!" Kat exclaimed "I'm Mitch" the boy said shyly "I'm Jerome" "I'm Max" the boys said Mitch looked at me "what's your name?" He asked "I'm Sammy" I smiled then Mr.Corwin called us up for lunch.

At social studies Kat Max Mitch Jerome and I all sat in a group "now since today we have new students let's play a Mr.Nicky song!" Exclaimed Mrs.Gearin I smiled "you'll like this" I whispered.

After the song we were all giggling and laughing. Then we went back to studying the Rome myths.

Kats POV

Social studies was boring as usual, until Max and I kept passing notes back and forth. I kept seeing Sammy looking at Jerome. I knew what that meant. Surprisingly Mrs.Gearin didn't catch us passing notes.

When class ended, I kept poking Sammy, like I always do.

"Sammy~." I said in a soothing voice.

"What?" She asked. I gave a creepy smile to her.

"I saw you staring at a special someone in social studies." I teased her. She blushed 50 shades of red. I smiled and ran to band, not wanting to be late.

I walked into the band room to see Jerome siting with the saxophones, an alto-sax perched on his hand.

"Hey Jerome!" I waved and sat in my usual spot. Jerome was the last sax in the row until it was clarinets. Lily and Brooke weren't here so I sat next to him, putting together my instrument.

"Hey Kat! I didn't know you do band too!" He exclaimed, playing a note on his sax. I smiled.

"Well now you know!" I giggled. Mr.Hovey soon came out and we started with Clocks, the song we're playing for all band night.

The bell rang, and we headed to our next class. This was the one other class were Sammy, Max, Mitch, Jerome, and I have together. We were currently working on heat and thermal energy, so to help the new students she did a brainpop and a YouTube video about it.

"Hurry up you idiot!" I yelled at Keith as he packed his bag. He mocked me and shut his locker and left. I passed Max his bag and grabbed mine, taking everything I needed with me. I closed my locker and locked it, waiting for Sammy and Jerome to round the corner.

Sammy's head finally appeared around the corner along with Jerome. Mitch was in Mrs.Murphy's homeroom so he stayed with us until the two lazy butts came.

"Finally you guys came, come on we'll miss the buses." I said and we all rushed out, bidding our farewells.

I hopped onto the bus, Max followed behind. We both sat down in the seat from this morning, Max on the outside this time.

"So, when did you move Max?" I asked.

"Just yesterday actually." He said sheepishly. I smiled.

"Where? The big blue house for sale?" I asked, hoping he'd say yes.

"Yea actually, how'd you know?" He asked, raising his brow slightly. I playfully rolled my eyes.

"That house has been for sale for a while now." I assured him. He let out a sigh of relief. "I'm two houses down from you!" I added, giving him a big smile. He smiled back and soon we came up to his house.

"Well, this is my stop." He said and hugged me before climbing out of the seat and out the bus door. I waved to him as he disappeared behind the glass door and into his house.
