Its been months since Diamond and I started speaking again and its better than anything spending time with her.
Here we are after all of that time in a yet foolish argument. She was accusing me of something I had no clue about. I was hurt my heart felt a sharp pain I didnt know why. "I'm done with you" the messaged read and I was amazed as to how she could carry on like this after everything.
I never was one to chase someone! I let her go and I put on my 'Don't care attitude', time passed and I forgot all about her, though sometimes I would find myself thinking about her and wanting to message her, I never did.
Time passed, here I am looking at my phone when a message came through. I would recognize that number from anywhere. It was Diamond. Hesitant to reply, I still did. Somehow we went right back to the way things were not bringing up what happned prior to us not speaking. Sometimes it still crossed my mind, we did promise to not take our arguments that far as to stop speaking but she broke that promise.
"My uncle moved" she stated so we were unable to see each other as much as in the past.
My nephews birthday was rapidly approaching and I invited her to tag along. She did, it was a pool party. My nephew was my heart he was turning two years old.
I wanted her to share that time with me.
Party day, my sister was short on help so I did not hesitate to assist so she can enjoy the party with her guest. I left Diamond alone but she was well acquainted with my sisters bestfriend at this time who at first was introduced as my sister by herself, we were just that close. So she had company.
As I was about to start going around making sure everyone was good, my sister asked me to assist some folks that just reach, I went on my way first I glanced at a lady well in her thirties or early forties asking her. "What would you like to eat, grilled bbq chicken, hamburger, hot dog" she stopped me and requested a hamburger looking next to her asking someone what she would like , I glanced over as the female raised her head up locking eyes my mouth opened slightly.
I was amazed by her beauty, we shared a smile she then stated what she wanted I went back and I got their orders and came back quickly.
Wanting to spend more time I then asked them what would they like to drink the lady pointed to her drink assuring me she was good as for the younger female she smiled and said "I can get it myself" she insisted "you've done enough" I smiled and said "its okay I don't mind" she said okay and requested a sprite soda.
All of this I totally forgot about Diamond, after I handed the soda i went back to Diamonds side sitting. I glanced up at the pool just to see the girl I served heading in the water, I then was eager to join. Asking Diamond if she would like to she said no.
Who was I kidding she had no intentions on it she didn't even bring swimming attire well aware of the occasion.
I went in anyhow but so scared to speak to her I just couldn't stop staring. It was cold I came out and sat back down. The evening was almost coming to an end I stole Diamond away and we sat over on the other side of the pool alone so we can talk. That was going fine until I heard the girl was leaving.
I told Diamond i would be back and trailed behind the girl for small chat asking her what's her name she told me "Asia" cute name I stated asking if she had a phone. "No" she replied. "Facebook" I asked. She smiled and said "Yes, she reached for my phone. "Would you like for me to put it in" I told her to put it n my note pad I would add her later " Don't forget to add me" she smirked as I walked away. "Oh, I won't."
I went back to Diamond I could tell she was upset maybe it was because I was practically gone all day. But later that night when she messaged me about how I left her for another girl I knew instantly she noticed my attraction to Asia. I tried clarifying my wrong stating I was just helping out. She added "I would never come anywhere you invite me again, you ditched me to flirt." I was horrified I knew I was wrong.
