Wether true love exists or not isn't up to me.
Wether I choose to believe it is is my choice.
Of course, now and again this complex concept can tear you apart.
If love is wanting someone to be there with you 24/7..
If love is not being able to find the right words to describe how amazing that someone is..
If love is being so head over heels for somebody that you can't help but want to talk about them to everybody who will listen..
Then I guess I'm in love.
There's somewhat of a poetic silence in it.
Things that should be said but feel like don't need to be.
Things you want to say but you're afraid they won't return the favour.
Sometimes love just stops altogether.
But that's not love, that's something different. It's warped and empty, filling you with regret instead of happiness.
I'm sorry to say that I have experienced that.
Even so, everybody needs somebody else.
It would always be nice to have somebody to tell secrets to at 1 AM.
Somebody to trust and care for.
But in this silence, there is hatred. As always, most relationships don't work out. It can get awful too fast.
But it's better not to think of it that way. Of course the comforting lies are always better than the unpleasant truths, but that doesn't mean you have to rip yourself apart because of it.
To love you need to be loved, and to be loved you need to love. What is love, really?
Well, if I'm bluntly honest, love is somewhat like playing with fire. It may be fun at first, but eventually you'll get a nasty burn.
It's okay if love isn't for you.
It's okay if it is.
Either way, you need to love yourself before you start loving other people.Or at least find somebody to love you for you.
