Self Love

There's always somebody else I want to be. There's always somebody that people will compare themselves to and think, "Man.. They're so smart and funny. I wish I could be them." It's happened to more people than you think. But the people you want to be might want to be somebody else. It's just a never-ending chain of people who want to be other people.
We don't take a second out of our day to realise that there are people who want to be us.

I knew a girl who had a scar that jutted across the side of her face. She was always talking about how ugly she thought she was. In reality, a lot of people actually thought she was a beautiful person inside and out. But there were others that made fun of her for having a scar on her face. I remember they called her awful names and she thought nobody liked her. I managed to maintain contact with her after she transferred to a different school. She told me throughout the course of 6 years that she always thought I was so much better than her.
She never loved herself, she never looked in the mirror and thought she was beautiful.

It's important for everybody to love themselves. No matter how hard it is, or how hard it will be. We are all unique individuals even if we don't think we are.
You and I are beautiful, glistening snowflakes that fell from somewhere here or somewhere over there. We were meant to be different, so for once, embrace it.
