Seth's panic started to boil over and it became harder to breath until he were at the piont he felt as though he were suffocating.

He bent over putting his hands on his knees to keep from falling over. He wanted to scream for help but he knew it would do no good. No one would hear him except Kyle who could vanish into the air at any moment. So he just stood there, scared to death, not sure what would happen next.

"Seth what's the matter?" Kyle asked putting a hand on Seth's shoulder, frowning.

"Uh...no-nothing." He answered standing up straight and shrugging Kyle's hand off him. He wanted to ask Kyle about the drawings that were on his desk but was afraid to hear the answer. Really he just wanted to get away from everything.

"Are you sure your alright?" Kyle asked again, more concern in his voice this time.

"Ya!" Seth shouted with frustration then turned his back to Kyle and ran up the stairs into his room. He slammed the door, backed away from it, and stood in the middle of the room.

His heart was thumping. He was confused and scaredand trying to figure out what had just happened to him. He couldn't comprehend it, none of it. What had happened?

Had he been hallucinating?

Was he going crazy?

Question after question formed in his head as he passed the floor.

Then there was a knock on the door. He froze. Afraid of what might be on the other side. Then he heard his brother's voice. He relaxed a bit. If hus brother hadn't disappeared by now he must be real. He slowly made his way to the doot and opened it to admit Kyle.

"Hey Seth, i just," Kyle sighed. "Please tell me what's wrong."

"Nothing, I'm fine." Seth lied as he sat down on the edge of his bed.

"Seth you know you can tell me anything, right?" Kyle remarked with a pleading look in his face.

"I want to tell you but i...i just can't." Seth said starring at the floor, trying to hold back the fear he had locked inside of himself.

"Why not? Why can't you people just let it all out?" Kyle murmured in a deep shrilling voice.  "You manipulate yourselves into thinking you shouldn't tell the world about me." Seth looked up at him. Kyle's expression had darkened. It was evil looking and his eyes were slowly turning a vibrant red.

"Kyle please stop, y-your really scaring me." Seth pleaded trembling as he cowered farther onto his bed, his back touching the wall. Kyle did not stop though. He grabbed Seth's shirt collar and tanked him off the bed.

"Now you will never have the chance. Your cowardness has taken away your privilege of seeing another day brew, this evening shall be your last." Kyle laughed as his grip held firm. Seth violently tried to escape from him but with no avail. Kyle dragged him down the staircase, Seth yelling for him to stop the whole while.

Kyle flung seth across the living room, with surprising strength. Seth's back smashed against the wooden structure of the couch. He rolled onto his stomach moaning. Kyle once again walked up to him and grabbed his shirt smashing his body onto their coffee table, shattering the glass surface and collapsing the structure. Then he lifted Seth and threw him onto the floor.

Seth wailed as he hit, trying to regain whatever small amount of breath he could. Pain crushed him from inside, and his lungs felt as though they had exploded.

Kyle's eyes glowed red as peices of skin began to peel off his face exposing parts of his skull. He gave a crucial laugh, showing his jagged teeth. He pulled a gray peice of cloth out from his pocket and rapped it just over the brim of his nose.

As if Seth were not there Kyle walked past him and went up to there mantle. There lay a steel sword, a perfect medieval blade. Kyle clutched it between his skinless fingers.

Seth, still lying helpless and in pain on the floor, wanted to run. He wanted to yell for help. Wanted to get up and flee as far away as possible. But he did not have the strength to do so.

"Kyle what have you become?" Seth managed to ask barley getting the few feeble words out.

"I have become the Nightmere everyone will fear me as. You reached creatures have taken days for granted and now you will be pushed into the shadows ad i was. You will be alone, unable, unliable, and most of all you will be horrified. You shameful beings will finally get what you deserve." His raspy voice remarked in descust as he walked ober to seth, stopping next to him. He pressed the sword against Seth's chest and drew some blood.

Seth clenched his teeth and groaned. He was frightened and wanted to wake up from this nightmare he wished he were in. But he couldn't move. And when he did excruciating pain stabbed throughout his body. It felt as though every muscles in his body had been bruised or tared, and his bones broken. He almost wished his brother would kill him so he would no longer have to lay there in agony.

Kyle help the sword in his hands, hatred steaming off every inch of his body as he placed it over Seth's heart. Seth knew in seconds the sharp blade would pierce through him. But much to his surprise it didn't.

The figure unsturdily took a few steps back, as though he were dizzy, dropping the sword and falling to his knees. He ripped the mask off, his face and fingures back to normal. Kyle shook his head like he was trying to wake himself from a daze. He looked up at Seth and terror struck his face.

"Oh my God what? Wh-who did this?"he asked as he crawled over to Seth.

"Y-you did." He muttered inaudibly quiet.
