He was, in lack of better words, annoyed.

"Steve." The blonde man looked up, expression unbelievably innocent. "Yes, Buck?"

"I survived a fall from a speeding train on mountain. Onto bare ground. Rocks and everything. Why do I have to wear this?" The man motioned to his upper body, which was currently swamped by a large, black and gray winter coat which Steve had specifically acquired just for him. Of course, Steve said otherwise, but Bucky knew better.

"'Cause you're still human," Steve responded, simply. "It limits movement. I can barely draw my elbow back," he complained, showing Steve how difficult it was. Steve snorted, finished tying the laces on his boots, and stood up. "One. You won't need to fight, I'll make sure of that. Two, unless you want me to hold you like some dame and give you some warmth, you're wearing the damn jacket. Understood?"

Bucky clenched his jaw, sighed. Steve had that look in his face, that look that told you he would jump off a building before backing down. "Understood," he muttered, grabbing a cookie from behind Steve and eating it quickly. Steve stared at him with an exasperated yet fond expression, before slipping a thinner coat over his shoulders and opening the door. There was a wall of snow, with the same indents and shape as the door.

"Steve?" Bucky asked, coming up behind him. Steve turned to look at him, with those absurdly long eyelashes of his and those damned lips of his- "Yes?"

He sighed heavily, put a hand on the blonde man's shoulder.

"You better put on one of these things, too."
