Lyle sat back, laying on Ian's bed. She had a lot of questions. Ian scrolled down the pictures and the websites to figure out who that girl was.

"So, they agreed that they will talk to you?" Lyle asked Ian. Nicolas raised his eyebrows, turning his chair so that he could wait for Ian to answer. He wanted to know what was said and if he trusted them.

"Yes, but I don't think they will." Ian shrugged his shoulders. Nicolas narrowed his eyebrows in confusion. Ian was so unsure that they will actually talk to anyone.

"Why?" Nicolas asked.

"Because," Ian let out a deep breath, rolling away from his computer. He turned around to look at his two curious friends. Always wanted to know what was on his mind. "They are very...different. Isolated," Ian couldn't explain it but they seemed like they wanted to distance themselves from the world.

"Isolated?" Lyle shook her head. "They came into town with blood all over them and they live in a mansion that's been here for years. Somethings up." Lyle explained. Ian didn't want the girls to feel like they didn't belong here and someone had it out for them.

"I'm sorry but we're you there?" Ian asked Lyle, cocking his head a little. Lyle rolled her eyes.

"You're protecting them, why?" Nicolas asked, seeing this story in his eyes. Ian shrugged his shoulder, he didn't know why he was so worried about these girls. They meant nothing to him but still, he wonders if they're okay sometimes.

"Do you like them?" Lyle crossed her arms.

"They are nice people. They're like a reign of color in this black and white town." Ian explains, smiling a little.

"Well, do you think that they could be a problem?" Nicolas asked him. Ian thought for a moment, anyone could be a problem but he doesn't think that these girls are it. He knows when something is wrong but they seemed safe.

"No, and I think we should leave it alone. Don't bother them. They seem like they don't anything to do with this town." Ian rolled back to his computer, he was trying to find files about Iris or anything that would tell him about her.

"Why don't you just find her files?" Lyle asked.

"Because she wasn't born in this town. Her files wouldn't be here, I would have to ask the FBI. We all know that's not happening." Ian huffed.

"Well, if you won't ask them, I will." Nicolas stood up. Ian leaped from his chair and grabbed Nicolas from leaving. Lyle was shocked how quickly Ian stood up from stopping Nicolas from talking to those girls. Nicolas looked down at his arm, seeing Ian's hand grip it tightly. Nicolas gave him a warning look. Ian sharply snatched his hand back, placing both in his pockets.

"Sorry." Ian held his head down.

"What's going on? Your extra...grabby today." Nicolas held his arm, still feeling the pain from Ian's strength. Ian huffed, he didn't want to tell his friends because he knew they would do something about it. This wasn't their problem, for a long time, they just wanted to keep this town safe but now, Ian wanted them safe.

"My dad was drunk that night the girls came into town, he almost ran over the girls and almost shot another," Ian mumbled.

"What?!" Lyle stood up, outraged at what he just told her. Nicolas still didn't understand.

"What does this mean?" Nicolas asked his good friend.

"It means that we're going to let this slide. They're holding that against us. If they tell the FBI, my father will lose his job." Ian explained.

"Well, maybe he should," Lyle told him. Ian slightly looked at her. They both did. "Don't look at me like that, you know I'm right," she said to the both of them. Ian knew that his father was an issue but he was supporting the both of them. After his mother died, his father was never the same.

"After my mother died-" Ian tried to explain.

"We all lost someone-" Nicolas tried to say.

"And we've all changed!" Ian shot back. "You're an incompetent asshole," Ian pointed at Nicolas, Nicolas crossed his arms and looked away from Ian. It was the truth and Nicolas knew so. "You used to live life and have all hope for the world. Now, you hate everyone and you won't save a life unless you get something in return." Ian yelled at him.

"Ian, don't yell at him." Lyle stood up again, looking at the both of them. "These girls might be dangerous and your father might just give them the golden ticket," Lyle explained.

"I know that but they're different, I'm telling you...trust me." Ian tried to explain.

"We do trust you, we just don't trust them," Lyle told him.

"They're okay people." Ian shrugged his shoulders.

"Oh," Nicolas scoffs. "Listen, I know you've got a thing for this Iris girl but you need to put your feelings aside on this one," Nicolas told him. Ian huffed, disappointed in his friends. He wished that they would just take his side on this one. He was always there and supported them, he knows bad people when he sees it.

"Why can't you just have my back?" Ian tried to explain to the both of them. Lyle glanced at Nicolas, he wasn't changing his mind about it.

"We'll go easy on them... Give them a chance, I guess." Lyle shrugged her shoulders. Nicolas rolled his eyes, thinking that this was insane for them to decide.

"Seriously?" Nicolas said to the both of them. Lyle crossed her arms, turning around to look at Nicolas.

"Yes, Seriously," Lyle answered him. "How many times have you screwed us over with someone who you thought you've trusted?" Lyle asked. "I'm sure Anthony won't be the last." Lyle raised her eyebrows, testing Nicolas. She took in a deep breath, turning back to Ian with a smile. "I would like to meet these girls," Lyle asked.
