Lucas and Gage stood next to each other, watching the students race into the classrooms before they were late. Gage chuckled, the school was empty and silent. He scanned the place, trying to find who he was looking for. They took a step forward, but then stopped. They could feel him and smell his scent.

"We know you're there." Lucas raised his voice a little with a smirk on his face. He looked around, Terrence could be behind any corner, any classroom, or any locker. Terrence had fear crawled up his throat and his hand began to shake. He didn't know what he was supposed to do or what to say next. He swallowed, leaning his back against the wall.

"You're here to kill me," Terrence told him. Gage cocked his head, Terrence's voice echoed. They couldn't tell where the voice was coming from.

"We're here to help you." Gage corrected him. Terrence didn't believe it but he knew better than to trust them. Anthony sent them here to kill him.

"What do you want from me?" Terrence asked them, Gage closed his eyes, trying to focus where Terrence's voice was coming from. Lucas huffed.

"You know what we want Terrence," Lucas told him.

"Yea, to kill me-" Terrence answered them.

"No, to help you," Lucas told him.

"How? You're a traitor, you're supposed to be allied with Nicolas but instead, you became Anthony's helpers." Terrence said quickly. Lucas and Gage knew that this was going to be a tough one to crack, they needed Terrence. He was a true alpha, stronger than most. He was important to the plan that they had. They glanced at each other, knowing what they had to do next. Terrence huffed, hearing only silence. He poked his head out, seeing if they were in the middle of the hallway but they weren't. They were gone, the hallway was empty. Only red lockers on the walls and papers on the ground. He let out a breath relief. They were gone. Terrence closed his eyes, trying to figure out his next move was. How he could be in a good place with God. He knew what he had to do, he had to tell the person who could make it all right. Nicolas.

"Don't be foolish," Lucas said. Terrence jumped out of his skin, he quickly turned around to Gage and Lucas behind him. They were standing side by side, looking into Terrence's eyes. Terrence shook his head, slowly backing away from them.

"I don't know what you're talking about." Terrence denied to them.

"We don't want to hurt you but if we have to-" Gage started to say.

"No, you wont....you won't, trust me," Terrence said to the both of them, they all stopped. Lucas thought for a second, he didn't want Terrence to feel like his life was being threatened, he knew too much.

"Listen, Terrence. You're important to us and you're important to Anthony. We need you for this...project." Lucas tried to explain to him.

"What project? For who?" Terrence asked the both of them. Lucas glanced at Gage, they both didn't know the answer to that. "Dying for someone you barely know is stupid." Terrence raised his voice. "If Anthony can't give me a reasonable explanation, I'm not risking my life for him or anyone else." Terrence pointed a finger. Gage knew that Anthony wouldn't like what they were going to tell him about Terrence.

"We'll give you a moment to think. Talk to tomorrow." Lucas finally spoke, Terrence narrowed his eyebrows. It was like they weren't listening to him but now he could escape from them. Without saying another word, Terrence turned around and walked out of the school's doors.

"What are you doing? We need him." Gage said to Lucas, they both turned around and started to walk down the hallway.

"Right now, we're on a thin thread with him. He knows everything, we have to be gentle." Lucas told him, Gage scoffs, rolling his eyes. He thought that they shouldn't be gentle, get what they want by beating the hell out of Terrence.

"Anthony is not going to be happy about us coming back empty-handed," Gage said to him. Lucas stopped, Gage turned around and looked at Lucas.

"I don't care. We have to save our asses too. If Terrence goes back and tells Nicolas about us betraying him, were dead." Lucas pointed at the both of them. "We need Terrence, if we don't have him, we might all die." Lucas continued to walk.

"We all die in the end anyway." Gage followed behind him.

"Sure, but I would like to live forever." Lucas snapped back. Gage scoffs, teasing his best friend.

"There's no such thing," Gage answered.
