ADAM'S POV

Shes pale, her eyes are shut. She's hooked up to more machines then I can ever count. Its been a week since the accident and she still hasn't woken up.

~~~FLASHBACK~~~

I open my eyes from the dark and look around. Its bright and I'm hooked up to a machine. I look on my left and see Willow unconscious and hooked up to even more machines then I.

"Willow?" I say. She doesn't answer

"Willow? Answer me" I say louder than I meant to.

"Sir, I'm going to need you to stay calm" I hear a voice behind me.

I turn around and see a paramedic sitting down.

"Willow isn't answering me" I say

"She's unconscious sir" he says

"What? Is she ok?" I ask, feeling worried about her.

"We don't know yet. We're getting you both to the hospital right now" the paramedic says

"Why? What happened?" I ask

"We were informed that you and Miss. May were in a car accident" He says

It then hits me all at once. Willow and I were hit by a car and Willow wouldn't wake up afterwards.

"Willow! Wake up!" I scream.

"Sir. You need to stay calm" the paramedic says

"Willow! You need to wake up now! Willow!" I scream. I try to get out of the paramedics grasp and get to Willow. Its no use.

"We need the morphling now!" The paramedic screams.

Another paramedic fills a shot with medicine.

"Willow wake up!" I scream. The paramedic then plunges the needle into my skin.

I start to feel dizzy as I try and scream her name. Then it gets dark.

~~~FLASHBACK OVER ~~~

"Hey, how are you doing?" I hear Jessica (Willow's mom) ask

"Better then Willow" I say

"I know its hard, but we just have to stay strong. For her okay?" She says

"Yeah..." I say.

We then hear a knock on the door and Doctor Thomson comes in.

"Any news?" I say and stand up, hoping Willow will wake up soon.

"Yes we have news, but, I'm afraid it isn't good news" he begins " Willow was impacted the most by the accident. She hit her head very hard and is in a coma"

Then my heart drops.

"What?" Jessica's jaw drops.

Doctor Thomson then continues "We don't know how long she will be in a coma for. It could be a month, two months, or even a year. And even after she wakes up, she could suffer from amnesia"

"Amnesia? So she won't remember who we are?" I say

"It'll take some time but, yes she won't remember you for a while." He says then turns to Jessica " but she will remember you because the human brain cannot forget their birth mother"

"Now if you'll excuse me I have to go" the doctor says. Then leaves the room.

I have no words. Willow won't remember who I am when she wakes up.

"I'm going to get coffee, would you like some?" Jessica asks me

"No thank you. I just need some time to think" I say

She shakes her head then leaves the room.

Willow won't remember who I am.
