The weekend went far too quickly and I had found myself once again sitting in on an early Monday morning lecture. The splitting headache that I had been suffering from had now subdued to a lulling ache. I don't remember most of last night, just that i'd definitely had a drink in hand for the majority of the time. Most of my first year is a complete blur, the supposed negative side affect of freshers.

I semi listened to Professor Leigh's monologue about hidden morals or something but it was difficult when i knew that he was looking at me. Louis' eyes were burning into the back of my skull, daring me to turn around. I just couldn't bring myself to look though, he was too intimidating. I plan on confronting him after class, but I know I'll just chicken out. Instead I wait outside the door for him without a plan of what to do or say.

I feel his presence before I see him. I'm facing away from the door so that I don't look like I'm waiting and he has to approach me. I whip my head around to face him. He's standing inches away from me, my nose almost touching his chin.

"Yes?" I ask, encouraging him to talk.

"Can I come over later?" He says. His eyes are focused on a point somewhere above my head, his back is straight and even though I can't see his eyes, I know that they are a cold, steely colour like they usually are.

His quick reply catches me off guard a little, and his tone makes him even more intimidating. I try not to make this obvious to him though so he doesn't think he has the upper hand here.

"Tonight?" I squeak, my voice faililing me.

I swear I see the corners of his mouth turn up slightly at my response. "Yes, so that you can help me with the course. Remember? You said you would" His voice had suddenly changed from eerie to angry and impatient, vaguely like a stubborn child.

"Oh yeah, of course. Uh, is 5 alright with you?" I say, trying to take control of the conversation.

"I guess" he sighs. What was his problem? One minute it's like he's desperate for my help and now it's as if he has better plans. I pretend to not have heard his mood change and step back a fraction.

"Great. See you later then" and before he can say anything else I walk straight past him, brushing our arms together.

I know that he's glaring at me as I walk but I carry on. I swear he's bi polar or something.

I sit in study hall an hour later with Izzy. I'm going through all of my notes and essays from last years classes ready for Louis.

"I don't get it" she suddenly says. She doesn't look up from her paper but I assume she's talking to me.

"Don't get what?" I reply, also not looking up.

"You. And Louis. You and Louis together"

"There is no me and Louis together, Iz" I sigh, somewhat amused by her assumptions.

"Whatever you say Soph" she says. I assume she's leaving it like that but then she looks up. "Don't you find it a bit strange that he has to catch up on the course even though he must've done the same one in Cheltenham anyway? And who transfers universities anyway?"

"I don't know, maybe it was a family thing. It's not like it matters though, he asked me for help and I said yes. End of."

"I don't get why you're helping him though?" she narrows her eyes curiously.

"Oh come on, I would've said yes to anybody. That's just who I am, he not special"

"I think you like him"
