I was slowly losing my senses, I was oblivious to everything around me. There was only him. Only Louis. It was trance like, and I could've stayed like that forever interlocked with him. I really could've, but I soon felt his small cold fingers making their way under my shirt and up my back. I pulled my head back and swatted at his arm. He groaned and bent his head forward to nibble my collar bone.

"No!" I finally shouted, shoving his toned chest away from me.

He looked up, his arms held out awkwardly and his chest rising and falling with heavy breaths. I crossed my arms and stepped back putting as much distance between us as possible.

"I'm sorry, I just got carried away" he spoke in a hoarse voice, his eyebrows knitted.

"It's fine, it's just....it's too fast. Too soon. I barely know you and-"

"No, I understand. I have to go now" for a moment his last words sounded forced, like leaving me was the last thing he wanted to do but once again I was staring at his back whilst he basically ran in the other direction.

I sighed in frustration and kicked my foot against the bottom of the tree. Once I'd pulled myself together I began trudging back the way I had came, noticing several missed calls showing on my phone screen.

I'd tried to cipher a new plan as confrontation was clearly not the way to go. But apparently, I'd scared him off anyway as he didn't show up for any classes that week and no one had seen him around campus. The next week was the same, he was a no show and it was really bugging me.

He kissed me like he meant it and now he's gone, typical man. I tried not to think of it almost 2 weeks after it had happened, whilst getting ready for a Halloween party with Izzy.

"Iz, can you pass me the white eye liner?" I called to her after finishing the liquid eyeliner.

For the party, I was going as a creepy doll. I had found a tutorial on YouTube which was actually harder to do than it looked considering my annoyingly shaky hands.

I turned to Izzy to grab the eyeliner and her appearance definitely scared me. She was going as a cat, heavy eye makeup and drawn on whiskers. What really got me was the cat eye contact lenses. They were yellow with a black diamond in the middle, and they seriously creeped me out.

"Woah" I said, staring at her new cat like features.

"You like?" She asked, batting her eyelids so that the contacts spun around her iris.

"They look really good Iz"

"Thanks, they hurt like a bitch though. I'll be taking them out ASAP"

I finished my makeup and slipped on a vintage looking, girly summer dress. When we stepped out into the hall, I knew that the party was going to be a big one. Dozens of people wandered past dressed as witches, werewolves, ghosts and about a hundred guys in morph suits. I squeezed between a crowd all sporting Harry Potter cloaks and knocked on Molly and Emi's door.

I wasn't at all surprised to see Liam open the door dressed as Superman. Emerging from behind him was Molly dressed as Wonder Woman, the two of then looking like a match made in heaven. They cleared out of the room to join us followed by Emily who was dressed as a not-so-convincing zombie. I laughed at her costume, a slightly ripped pair of jeans with a white top that looked like she had attacked it with lipstick. Her face was pale at least, but not that much more than usual.

As we were walking to the party, for the first time since the kiss I was actually glad that Louis wasn't here. I could walk around and not worry about him watching me.
