After telling Bree everything, Bree was shocked, just like Kevin. "Wow." She muttered. Kylie sighed. "Doesn't change anything." She says. Bree looked at her and smiled. "I know it doesn't." She says. As they sat there, Pomfrey came in. "Ms. Carson, how are you feeling?" She asks. "Much better." She replied.

"Good, I'm going to keep you in here tonight. You two should be off." She says as she turns toward Bree and Kevin. The two nod and look at Kylie. "We'll see you tomorrow." Bree says as the two walk out. Kylie smiled and leaned back against the headboard before closing her eyes.

Later that night, Kylie awoke to the door opening. She quickly opened her eyes and sat up. Because it was dark, she couldn't see who it was, it was just black figures walking in. "Who's there?" She called out. The two figures stopped. "It's us." The voice says. Eventually, he stepped out. Kylie looked around quickly. "You'll get caught." She says. "No we won't." He says and sits in the chair beside her as Remus stood behind him.

"How are you feeling?" He asks. "Better." She replied. "Gave me quite a scare earlier." He says. Kylie huffed softly. "I scared myself to be honest." She says. He nodded softly. "They were after me -- because of you, weren't they?" She asks. Sirius looked up at her and nodded.

"They know you're somewhat tied to me, but they don't know you're related." He says. Kylie nodded and fiddled with her fingers. "Don't worry, nothing's going to happen to you. I'll make sure of it." He says and grabs her hand. Kylie smiled and wrapped her arms around him. "I've missed you dad." She whispered. He smiled.

"I've missed you too, Ivy." He whispered. And the two just sat there, embracing each other after so many years. Yes, they did see each other before, but this was the longest they've been together.

A few weeks had passed and Kylie always snuck out at night to see her dad. Remus sometimes joined her, but sometimes he covered for her. Though it was different that night, when she was there, Remus ran in and looked tired. "Moony?" Sirius asks. "I forgot what tonight was." He says, breathing heavily.

Sirius quickly stood up and grabbed Kylie. "You need to leave." He says. "I want to help." She says. "No, Ivy, it's dangerous. Get out of here." Remus says. "I can protect myself." She says. "Ivory, get out, now!" Remus shouted and grabbed her hand, pulling her out. She stumbled out and watched as his eyes shifted. "Ivy, go!" Sirius shouted, before shifting and pushing Remus back in.

Kylie quickly stumbled back before running off back towards the castle. Once she got to the courtyard, she rounded the corner and stopped, taking a deep breath. She sighed and moved the hair from her face, before making her way back to the common room.

Once she was there, she quickly, but quietly walked up and changed before getting into her bed. She sighed and closed her eyes, but all she could think of were his eyes.

The next day, Kylie woke up before everybody else and decided to go out to the tree. As she trekked through the snow, she came upon the tree and hesitated. "Ivy?" She heard. She turned and saw Sirius standing behind her. "Is he alright?" She asks. "He's fine. Poor thing passed out." He says and walked towards the entrance. "Is it safe to go in there?" She asks.

Sirius stopped and turned before nodding. "Come on." He says. Kylie followed and looked around, until she saw Remus covered in a blanket, sleeping. As she took in his appearance, she noticed his arms. She carefully walked towards him and looked over the wounds.
