The Heart of Everything {HP}

"Fudge is coming and -- we're not leaving -- why aren't we leaving?" Kylie muttered. Kylie looked around, trying to find anything to use until she found a jagged star-shaped stone. She quickly grabbed it and threw it right at the vase. "Are you mad?" Harry asks. Kylie ignored them and grabbed another stone, chucking it right at Harry's head. "That hurt." Harry says. "Sorry." She muttered and peered over, seeing herself look out the window to see Fudge and them.

Soon, Fudge's party rapped on the door. "C'mon. Any minute now we're going to be coming out the back door." Kylie says and led the two behind the trees. As they stood there, the other three ran over and hid behind the pumpkins. "Is that really what my hair looks like from the back?" Hermione asks, but was quickly shushed by Kylie and Harry. As they sat there, 'Kylie' turned and looked through the trees.

"Nothing, I just thought I saw -- never mind." She says, until the three were gone. Kylie, Hermione and Harry all look over and watch as they run up the slope. "Now, Harry!" Hermione says as she pushed Harry off towards the Hippogriff.

"It is the decision of the Committee for the Disposal of Dangerous Creatures that the Hippogriff Buckbeak, hereafter called the condemned, shall be executed this day at sundown --" Kylie heard Fudge say. Kylie quickly, but quietly ran over to Harry and watched as he bowed and took his chain, but the crow pecked his hand. "Get away!" He whispered. Kylie ran over and threw the bird off of him.

"The Committee's appointed executioner shall dispatch the condemned by means of beheading --" Kylie heard. "C'mon, Buckbeak. Come on --" Harry pleads, but the Hippogriff refused. "As witnessed below. You sign here, Hagrid. Very well, gentlemen. Let's step outside, shall we --" Fudge says. "Excuse me, Minister. I believe I must sign as well --" Dumbledore says.

Kylie gasped and tried helping Harry, but he refused to move. Soon, Hermione came over with dead ferrets hanging from her neck. "Here, Beaky -- Come and get the nice dead ferret -- yum yum --" She muttered as she held the ferret out. Soon, Buckbeak trotted after her. Kylie and Harry quickly helped take him to the forest just as the back door opened. "Professor Dippet had those blackberries planted when he was Headmaster --" Dumbledore says.

Kylie shooed Buckbeak along in the forest. As they weaved through the trees, they came to a spot and breathed heavily. "Now what?" Harry asks. "We save Sirius." Hermione says. "And we do that -- how?" He asks. "No idea." She replied.

As they reached the edge of the forest, they came across the Whomping Willow. Kylie peered around the trees and saw Remus approaching the tree. " Look. It's Lupin." Hermione says. Kylie watched sadly as he grabbed a stick and poked a knot in the ground, causing the branches to become still and calm. "Wait until Fred and George hear about that one." Harry says. "Here comes Snape." Kylie whispered as he came up and went down the slope. 

"And now we wait." Harry says. "Now we wait." Hermione says.

As the three sat against the trees, Kylie watched Buckbeak snatch the flying bats, tail twitching briefly between his beak. "'Least someone's enjoying himself." Hermione says. The two chuckle. Harry took the chocolate that Dumbledore gave him and snapped two pieces off for the two. Kylie smiled and ate it.

"Kylie?" Harry asks. Kylie looked over at him and smiled softly. "Yes?" She asks. "Is that even your name?" He asks. Kylie took a deep breath and shook her head. "That's my fake name, keeps me hidden from everyone. My real names Ivory Walburga Black." She replied. "So Sirius is your dad?" Hermione asks. She nodded. "You knew Peter and Professor Lupin?" Harry asks. "Remus was my best friend when I was younger. Dad was always busy so either he would watch me or your parents would." She starts.
